This was by far the worst moving experience of my life. Lots of tears were shed. The movers dropped boxes, were angry and aggressive with us, left 1/3 of our stuff behind because they didn't want to move it using excuses like that they weren't "packed properly" for things already in boxes (when previous movers had no issues) so we ended up having to hire another moving company a day later to move the rest. They argued with us about where things would fit and my uncle even had to take apart things to move them into rooms as they refused to do it. The lead guy was terrifying and swore at us constantly, yelled and screamed and complained constantly...the other two guys were nice but seemed terrified of him as well. If we ever have to move again we will stay far, far, far away from this company. I am assuming they have a ton of movers in their company since they have such good reviews but if you run a risk of getting the team we had... its just not worth it. EDIT: and despite the comment from the company below, proof was provided to homestars that I did in fact hire this exact company. We did not call them afterwards to complain due to the fact that the awful mover clearly knows where we live, so we worried that if we complained, we would be scared for our safety. No joke.

Chris has been our project manager throughout our massive home renovation. Its literally been a "down-to-the-studs" type of renovation but literally every contractor who has come through the door has told us how lucky we are to have Chris! He is also simultaneously redoing 3 bathrooms in the home, helped with drywall patching, painting, potlight install, etc. as well as managing the incoming/outgoing contractors. He gives detailed weekly reporting on the budget and is very very very honest and trustworthy with sourcing external contractors. He made this entire process MUCH less scary and gave us much more confidence in our first reno. Thanks Chris!!

We were so worried about hiring a window person after meeting a few different companies and not getting great vibes off of any of them. After looking on Homestars, we saw lots of great reviews for Optima and decided to go with them after meeting with Chris. We had all the windows on our 140 year old, downtown 3-story Victorian replaced by Optima. From start to finish Chris was extremely communicative, patient, explained the ins and outs of the process, gave recommendations...He even told us when we didn't necessarily need to replace some windows because they weren't as old as the others (we did anyways for continuity but the honesty was appreciated). They came and worked like crazy and got pretty much everything done within 2 days, the only thing we had to wait on was a miscommunication about our side windows which was totally our fault. They came and installed them no problem a few weeks later and fixed a tiny dent that had happened on one of the 3rd floor ones too. You can't go wrong with these guys - they are extremely thorough, and the work is fantastic. I will add photos soon!! 10/10 we would recommend them to anyone who needs a window person.

We had Red Robin come in to fix some ridiculous exterior wall holes in our new home as well as repair a major hole in the inside chimney, remove the exterior chimney on the roof and seal it up, and replace 60 bricks along the exterior wall outside as well as tuckpointing on the house. They showed up, were very informative, worked fast, did a FANTASTIC job, and I would recommend them to anyone! We are already looking at what else we can use them for too!
