We recently had a large event at our home and I noticed one of the receptacles was not working in our backyard. I contacted Hugh and he not only got to the root of the problem, but he took the time to explain everything to me so I understood how to rectify it in the future. His attention to detail, professionalism and generally sincere personality is something I really appreciate in a contractor. Just before the party started, the lights went out while we were trying to plug in the popcorn machine, but bc Hugh took the time to explain what to do in that situation, I was able to easily fix it and we were all good. Hugh also came to the rescue last winter when I was installing Christmas lights outside. He made my daughter's face smile when we were able to replace the receptacle in the front and get them working. I would highly recommend this company for any electrical work. Thanks Hugh!

We removed two walls on our main floor and installed custom cabinetry. I used the opportunity to re-design our surround sound system and home network. The idea was to leverage my existing amp for the home theatre and install new speakers on a different zone outside, all with connectivity to our cell phones (Spotify). When I met with Wayne, he fully understood my plan, but also offered even better ideas. The finished product was a 5.1 Dolby Digital set up with ceiling speakers and the sub that honestly feels like a movie theatre. Two high quality outdoor speakers connected to the same amp on a different zone. I can play my music while outside from my cell phone, while my wife can play her music inside from her phone and vice versa. Wayne was unbelievable in fine tuning the amp to the precise settings needed between watch movies and listening to music. In addition to this, Wayne was able to amplify our home network to guarantee a strong signal all over our property, as we love watching movies on the projector out back and listening to music by the pool. We also purchased a 65" Sony XBR through Wayne and love it.. it completes the smart home concept as we can easily connect all of our devices to the TV and really enjoy this feature. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the job that Wayne did for us. He also cleaned up a lot of excess wiring from the previous owners and made sure everything was installed as cleanly and professionally as possible. I could have hired the general contractors that did the renovation to do this work but I knew that I needed someone with expert knowledge, and who could give a clean look and finish. Wayne absolutely delivered and my wife and I could not be happier with the experience we have with this setup everyday. Highly recommend Wayne and will definitely use him for future projects!

This is our third straight summer using Ehab, Nasser and team for a major renovation. I thought our kitchen was challenging but this one was by far the most complicated, as we tore down a load bearing wall and a structural wall, and had 3 other contractors involved for cabinetry, technology, and hardwood. I can go on about the quality of Ehab's work, but the fact we've used him 3 straight years can speak to that. The reason we decided to go through with this renovation with a baby, was because we trusted Ehab, Nasser and their group to get it done right, on time and figure out contingencies as needed, despite all the stress not only us but they were probably feeling with covid. When we purchased our house 3 years ago, it was a complete dump, but we loved the lot and basic layout of the house. Ehab and his crew have slowly turned it into our dream home over the past few years. I can't say enough about not only the quality of their work, the extra mile they will go to, but most importantly that they are good people. It's not easy to find that in a quality contractor and we highly recommend them to our friends and family. Thanks Level Q!

We had the pleasure of working with Vitaly and I can say that it was a painless process and he delivered exactly what we wanted. He was able to match the remaining windows to the windows we had installed 2 years ago (we chose not to continue working with that company). My wife is very particular about certain finishings and Vitaly made sure the doors were exactly how we wanted. As a plus, his installers were awesome. The previous company we used for our other windows was not bad, it just left us with a feeling that we weren't 100% satisfied. I think Total Home and Windows and Doors gave us that 100% satisfied feeling. It was also a pleasure to communicate easily with their office as well as Vitaly. Wish we had found them 2 years ago so we could have done all of our windows with them!

We moved into this house in 2017 and encountered a number of problems. One was the eavestrough were in desperate need of cleaning, another was some leakage due to the poor state of the eavestrough. Jacob was amazing.. not only did he clean the eavestrough so well, he also returned shortly after and provided a solution to fix the leaks in our eavestrough. 2 years later and everything works great. We have been using Jacob ever since and will now add window cleaning and dirt cleaning to our services. I have referred CTHRU to a few neighbours/family and everyone has great things to say, not surprisingly. Thanks Jacob & Stephanie, it is so easy to work with you both.

I chose Aurora Paving based on the positive reviews I had read in here compared to the mostly negative reviews I had read about other companies in the industry. Mike was amazing.. he came out to our house in Claremont the same day that I called him, which was awesome, and took measurements and gave me a quote. His office then followed up with the date of excavation and showed up on time and were very professional and punctual. As you can tell, there's a lot of machinery, vehicles and workers involved with this so it was nice that they arrived early and were done within 2 hours, minimizing the disruption to our neighbours. Mike advised it would be approximately 4-6 weeks after the driveway settled before they would pave it. I had heard from a few people that the longer it sits the better, so when they called back after 7 weeks, we were thinking perfect timing. The guys showed up on schedule and worked like an assembly line, done in 2 hours (and we have a pretty big driveway). I found this company incredibly easy to work with and the attention to detail was there. In addition, one thing I really appreciated was that Mike said they do not charge one cent until the job is completed, so you are not left chasing them after they rip out your driveway and are waiting for them to pave. It's only been a few days, but our neighbours have already been complimenting the new driveway. Thanks CA!
