We replaced all windows and patio door in our house, which had 24 windows, brick to brick. It was a huge project for us, so we did research and quotes from several companies and decided to go with Total Home and it is one of best decisions in my life. I couldn't agree more they are the best in term of quality and installation!
The whole installation took 2 days, and from start to finish,
every team member was helpful, knowledgeable, and professional.

We recently hired Total Home Windows and Doors to replace two doors and install a storm door. While everything seemed great initially, our experience has taken a disappointing turn, and we can no longer recommend this company. Heres a breakdown of our journey:

Sales Process:
Our salesman, Daniel, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, professional, and gave us great advice on selecting the doors. Based on his recommendations, we decided to add a storm door to complement the beautiful main door at the front. At the time, we felt confident in our decision.

Installation and Initial Impressions:
The installation went smoothly, and the doors looked great. However, within a year, issues started to arise.

Major Issues Encountered:
1. Main Door:
The trim on the main door has started to warp and come off. When we contacted the company, they sent someone to assess the issue. Unfortunately, we were told the problem wasnt covered under warranty because we had installed a storm door. This was incredibly frustrating because the storm door was recommended by their own salesperson. If we had known the storm door could cause such problems, we never would have chosen to install one.
2. Storm Door:
The storm door has been problematic from the start. Within the first year, it started malfunctioning, and we had to call the company to fix it. While it worked temporarily after the repair, the same issue reoccurred after just two weeks.

Customer Service Experience:
The biggest disappointment has been the customer service. After the technician assessed the main door issue, he said he needed to speak with head office and would get back to us. That was over a month ago, and weve heard nothing since. The lack of follow-up and accountability has been frustrating, to say the least.

Conclusion:
The doors themselves look beautiful, but the quality of workmanship and durability leaves much to be desired. More importantly, the poor communication and lack of resolution from Total Home Windows and Doors have made this an awful experience.

Had the company properly fixed the doors and stood by their product within the first year, this review might have been very different. However, their failure to address these issues, coupled with the miscommunication between sales and head office, has left us feeling let down.

We relied on Homestars for this renovation, but sadly, this company has not lived up to expectations. I cannot recommend Total Home Windows and Doors based on our experience. They need to improve their customer service and honor their warranties to restore trust with customers.

Total Homes Windows and Doors company provided excellent services for replacing our windows and front door. The installation was quick, clean and professional. The work was very well done and in a professional manner. The crews paid close attention to details and cleaned up everything.

We have replaced a front door, and we chose Total Home Windows and Door because Mike took the time to explain the process, and he was extremely knowledgeable of the products, workmanship and extremely trustworthy. Mike assured us that the installers are very good, and have done these types of jobs many of times before. His crew did in fact do an exceptionally wonderful job and they were extremely experienced, professionals, very kind, and respectful of our home, they even cleaned up the working area, and left no trace of debris. They did do an amazing job with the installation, and it looks awesome.

Quality of all doors and price cannot be beat. The new doors looking amazing and the installation was handled with extra care to ensure the doors were install at Ed and sealed properly. FRENCH DOORS
French Doors for back deck: All went well from start to finish. Price very reasonable Doors arrived a little before promised date. Vitaly assured me he had quality workers and he was right. I wanted to match trim around the doors that was throughout the house. Workers removed and reinstalled without a scratch. They were in and out in less than a day with all dust and debris removed. Friends and neighbours comment on how good the doors look.

We are very pleased with the quality of the product. Everything is in great working condition. Excellent service.
