We’ve had issues with water in our basement whenever we had heavy down pours. It was obvious that the current size of the eavestroughs and downspouts were insufficient to carry the volume given the pitch of the roof on one particular side of the house. We wanted to install the 6” eavestrough and 3” downspouts, yet other contractors we had come by would try to talk us out of it. Their solution was to just add another downspout, despite us watching the water fly off the roof and completely bypass the gutters! Dennis listened to our concerns and provided some suggestions. We agreed and asked him to do the job. He was able to fit us in quickly and installed everything as he described. It was touch and go for a while as a storm came up while he and his helper were working, but everyone ended up safe (albeit it wet) and the basement was dry! We have had a few major storms since then and no water in the basement. Dennis was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him with no hesitation. I’m so glad we found Sterling Exteriors!

I researched the cost of replacing 2 10 year old hot water tanks, and Graham was the cheapest. He returned my call promptly and was very professional. He arrived when he said, did the job very well. I will definitely use him again, for a number of misc. plumbing jobs around the house. As we agreed, I will make a list and he will address them all in one visit. Very time and cost effective.

I made arrangements with the service manager for the colour and size of the weatherstripping (its an oversize door) and he assured me that the tech would have that information for the service call. The tech arrived, and kept talking about "balancing the door", (it was fine) and told me that he had neither the colour or size of the weatherstripping I requested. Called the service manager who was on the phone with the tech and apparently the tech never read the email attached to the work order. Got a very bad vibe from the experience and have left a request for the confirmation that my Visa will not be charged for the service call.
