We’ve had issues with water in our basement whenever we had heavy down pours. It was obvious that the current size of the eavestroughs and downspouts were insufficient to carry the volume given the pitch of the roof on one particular side of the house. We wanted to install the 6” eavestrough and 3” downspouts, yet other contractors we had come by would try to talk us out of it. Their solution was to just add another downspout, despite us watching the water fly off the roof and completely bypass the gutters! Dennis listened to our concerns and provided some suggestions. We agreed and asked him to do the job. He was able to fit us in quickly and installed everything as he described. It was touch and go for a while as a storm came up while he and his helper were working, but everyone ended up safe (albeit it wet) and the basement was dry! We have had a few major storms since then and no water in the basement.
