This cleaning was sub-standard in my view. I was told the floors would be hand-washed, and when I got home, I could see they clearly had not been thoroughly cleaned. Frankly, it looked as though the crew rushed through the cleaning. The bathrooms didn't shine, nor did the kitchen. I was able to drag my finger through film in the bottom of the shower. Things definitely looked wiped down, but not with much elbow grease behind it. For $175, I expected better. When they followed up with a call, I told them I was disappointed. The response? We're sorry to hear that. Interestingly, no offer to come have a look and make amends.
Manufacturered Hardwood and Tile Job
We purchased our manufactured hardwood from Mint. We also purchased Alterna tile from Mint and used their contractor for the tile install. Ashley B. is one of the flooring consultants at Mint. She was really great. She was attentive to my flooring needs and was very interested in helping me find the right product. I had a few questions along the way, and she was always easy to reach, either by phone or e-mail. There was a delay in getting the wood product in, but Mint did a great job keeping on top of the supplier. They were also very competitive. Can't comment on wood install as we used our own installer. Mint's tiling crew was good to work with -- on-time, neat, careful.
Quick response. Quick fix. Reasonable price. Terry showed up when he said he would, looked professional, was careful about cleaning up (we had a leaky hose), and left the broken part for us to inspect. All in all, a very good experience.
MaxGreen was great to deal with. Adam was friendly, and knowledgeable. Jim, who oversaw the install, was also friendly, and very particular about his work. For example, he spotted a couple of hard-to-see flaws in the freshly installed windows. maxGreen immediately ordered new ones. Great quality control! My only issue -- the sub-contractor (don't remember who that was) didn't clean the gooey sticker residue from the new panes.

Unfortunately there are sometimes minor manufacturing defects that are missed by the plant, but our installers have keen eyes and are experienced enough to know what to look for - even if it is something our customers may not see right away. I am really sorry to hear that the glass replacement installer who was sent by the manufacturer to replace the defective glass unit didn't follow the same level of customer service standard that we set for our people and our suppliers. We had a great experience with this roofing company. DRR was here when they said they would be, cleaned up after each day (2-day job), and from what we can tell, did a super job with the new shingles.
