I found Fairdeal online and I sure feel lucky to have gone ahead with them for a few upgrades to my hvac system. They helped install a new owned water heater, and fixed a set of return air vents, with augmenting the return vent runs to join the main return ducting in the ceiling. I also had them install an insurance heat sensor and a sprinkler system in the furnace room. Let alone the price being very competitive, what amazed me most was that openness and approachability of Ash, and his crew that did the work. Along with the attention to detail. I had a lot of work done in my house since we moved but there was only a couple of people that I didnt have major complaints or had no concerns about. Fairdeal was one of them. To top it off they didn't even ask me to pay right away as Ash was busy on another project and he came by after letting me use the system for a good 2 weeks before coming over to let me pay the full amount. Who let's you do that these days. I've found my go to for all my hvac needs. Edit - this work was performed in Feb 2021 and we have had no complaints so far as the time of this review (June 2021). Ash still remains extremely helpful and answers right away any questions about hvac stuff. Keep it up guys!

I found out about Magnum kitchens through my own web based search and I was really glad. I do regret writing a review so late but it's been 2 years and this is much overdue. The kitchen installation was near perfect given the constraints of my basement. There were complications due to the nature of ceiling and floor level. And there were other workers in the rest of the basement that were working on flooring and painting. It did lead to a bit of a hiccup with the drawer handles as the installers weren't able to focus on their work due to the distractions including me hovering over them. But Avtar handled it well and fixed the issue and I couldn't notice defect. They were very timely and after 2 years the kitchen is holding up well :) and looks great.

Furnace King performed AC and furnace inspection for me - for the price I think it was a decent job. However, the person that came to inspect the furnace performed a predetermined list of steps and I was not convinced the installation (inherited from prior owner of house) reliability was something this person could comment on (identify defects etc). Based on my own research and investigation I had determined something faulty with the single pipe going out of the furnace (exhaust vent) which was not sloped correct and caused a lot of problems last winter (2010-11). So I had FK come back to install a second pipe for the intake to the furnace as well as determine a solution to the sloping problem of the existing venting. There was a confusion between the booking folks and the techs - I told during booking that my basement was finished and the techs were surprized when they showed up that it wasn't. However I was glad that they honoured the price committment given to me over the phone. It took them two trips to get the job done and the second part of the trip was arrange by FK themselves within two weeks after the first portion of the job was done. They installed a second pipe which became the new exhaust after trying to establish a slope towards the furnace and the existing exhaust was converted to the new fresh air intake as it was obvious there was a sag in the pipe causing water accumulation. Overall with the staff and the price points I was offerred I am very satisfied. I would have rated them higher but I have yet to operate the furnace coming winter after these fixes to test if everything has been installed properly and how their warranty response if any needed would be.
