AKAD CONSTRUCTION did a great job installing a wooden fence on our property. They did it in good time and it is professionally done. However, their after construction work is extremely poor. The fence was erected 3 months ago. To date, we have not been able to get them to come back to fix two issues. In addition to that, they left cigarette butts , lunch packaging and water bottles on our property. They had moved a large, heavy planter and did not move it back. They broke the eavestrough which cost us to have someone come to do the repair. They also moved brick work and left it strewn in the yard. Repeated texts have proven useless as the bricks are still not in place. I would not recommend this company.

I was impressed all throughout the process - the initial inquiry; the follow up call from You Move Me; and by the two young men who completed the pick up and delivery. It was a professional, clear and customer focused experience. The young men who picked up and delivered my furnishings were prompt,courteous, kind and patient. They came upon an unforeseen issue and they worked very hard diligently to find a solution. There was attention to details, like calling ahead to say they were on their way and asking if they could bring coffee. I highly recommend this company. I find their rates fair and their customer service excellent.

The basement renovation was the second project that The Home Improvement Group took care of in our home in the last few years. This renovation included a number of different tasks from flooring and painting to replacing broken windows, doors, and ceiling tiles. To have all this taken care of with one call is a great service. All the skilled, professional workers on the team that we had the pleasure to meet were knowledgeable, courteous, and reliable. From receiving the quote to the final clean up, the team provided expert work. It is very clear by care with which the work was done, that every single worker took great pride in their profession. Any questions we had were dealt with promptly. We would like to thank Les, for coordinating this project and each of the great people who worked to create a wondrous new space in our home.
