Needed a new garage door for a 1940's era garage. Existing '70's era garage door had been jury-rigged by previous home owner, and existing '90's era garage door opener had been jury-rigged by us. Amana took the whole mess, installed a new door, managed all the strange structural issues, properly installed the garage door opener and made it all pretty. A good job for a fair price, and none of the sleazy under-the-table issues that seem to abound in this area of renovations.

So very impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail in our siding job. The company was generally good to deal with, sales rep Dave was responsive to questions and calls, but the actual siding crew was amazing. Whenever they ran into an issue -- which is always the case working on a 75 year old house -- they took the time to find a quality solution. An obvious pride in workmanship, with even the smallest details managed expertly. We also hired this company to install new windows in a different contract and they did a good job. Not the same rave review that the siding guys get, but professional and as expected.

Duct cleaning in my 1.5 storey house resulted in everything on the main floor being covered in a layer of black dust, and my floor covered in debris from the ducts (dust, dog hair, plant leaves etc.). I literally had to wash every surface and wipe down everything that was on it. Two person duct-cleaning crew was in a mad rush and offered no communication. I went with HD (Steam Dry Canada Ltd.) to avoid being ensnared by sketchy operators in this industry, but it did not appear to help. Picture shows rag after I wiped off my dining room table.

Shawn and his team removed existing flooring and installed new vinyl plank flooring throughout our kitchen, hallway and den. The job was done professionally, in the time frame promised, and with a minimum of disruption or dust in the rest of the house. We're very pleased with the final result and would happily recommend Beneath Your Feet flooring.

Requested a service call for a low flow issue that was causing pump to shut off. Technician arrived, looked at hot tub for 30 seconds and determined "Pump no good. Very noisy and keeps shutting down." (Direct quote from the work order.) A $90 (3 minute) service call to tell me exactly what I already knew. He made no effort to undertake any of the troubleshooting steps outlined in the owner's manual as a way to address the low flow issue. When I complained, I was told that he was very experienced and apparently could tell by looking at my pump that those steps wouldn't be helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to advise us of your concerns with your service call. It is only through feedback that we are able to maintain and where necessary, improve upon the service that we provide to our customers.

I’m sorry that you feel the diagnosis on site was rushed. I understand that the Bud’s service advisor was able to walk you through a number of troubleshooting items over the phone prior to booking the service call in hopes of resolving the issue for free. When these steps did not solve the problem, our technician was booked to come out and notes were made about the troubleshooting already accomplished.

It is always great when a customer can be home for our appointment. The technician was happy to be able to discuss the problems, age and condition of the hot tub with you. Unfortunately without a decision from your husband regarding replacement of the hot tub pump, there was nothing further that could be done at that appointment.

We always hope to do repairs on our first visit if possible or to at least leave you with all the information you need to make a decision on the repair. Our technician felt you were comfortable with his diagnosis when he left.

It is unfortunate that you wrote this review prior to resolving the condition with your hot tub and prior to receiving an invoice. To date you have not been billed anything for this service call.

Thank you, Bill

Had a new porch and concrete walkway installed two years ago. Construction went well. Some challenges with concrete sealing process. Joe has worked to address any concerns or problems we have experienced. I would not recommend this form of stamped concrete for walkways or areas that get foot or automobile traffic. Easily damaged by salt and sand and not very durable.

Had two upper floor windows and a patio door replaced in my 1940's-era home, where nothing is square and most renovation jobs require some adaptation. Installers weren't thrown, the job went smoothly and the final result looks great.
