It was a great experience working with John and Nick. They took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and made it happen.

Custom Aluminum provide a comprehensive and detailed quote with a very reasonable price. Custom's crew came on site as scheduled, completed demolition, then completed the installation of the new material right away, and finished all of it in a short time. All this in the cold weather. When, a few months later, we noted a minor issue, they sent a crew out within days and completed recifying the issue quickly and efficiently. Great job all round.

From start to finish it was a great experience, professional, courteous and responsive to our needs. With all the negative news you hear from neighbors about their poor contracting jobs, it is a breath of fresh air to know that the folks at Custom Aluminum go above and beyond and provide a top notch product.

Our experience with Custom was great from start to finish. The sales rep Vlaz was friendly and professional and we didn't feel pressured into making any decisions we weren't comfortable with. We had our 50+ year old house transformed with Versetta stone, vinyl board and batten siding and a cedar shake chimney. The installers Kevin and Steve did an amazing job. They are hard working, meticulous, very tidy, professional and take much pride in their work. My husband is a residential building contractor and has worked for years with many trades. He was very impressed with the workmanship and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Custom. And the job was completed in less time than expected! Thanks Custom for a job well done!

Edit: the owner, Peter personally called me and we chatted through the situation so I'm updating my review to state this. By personally calling me, the owner showed that their company is committed to customer service and doing the right thing. I'm leaving the review up because it doesn't erase what happened but I also want to be fair and state that the company did make it right so it's not a bad company to contact for a quote.

I used this company for siding, you can see my earlier review from Oct 2021 where I gave this company 10/10. However my second experience with them was very dissatisfying. Maybe their Siding division has their stuff together but their Windows division certainly doesn't.

I called Custom Windows to replace 2 windows around late winter 2022 and I spoke to Bruce, the salesperson I dealt with before. He was always professional. I paid a deposit on my windows around early May and my mom ordered windows from them around the same time. I was given the heads up by Bruce that due to covid delays etc that it would be 3+ months until my windows would be produced. 3 months later they weren't ready. October rolls around they still aren't ready. Around that time my mom gets a call regarding her windows being ready but mine still weren't although we ordered around the same time. My mom was also frustrated with how long it took for her job to get completed.

So I called the head office and spoke to a lady named Michelle. She informed me that due to a "miscommunication" that measurements for my windows were not taken or something was missed and that my order should have been completed 2 months ago (first issue) and that she would send out an installer ASAP to measure my window dimensions. I was told the installer would come later that day/or the next day (can't remember) and then received a call that the installer wouldn't make it (second issue). The installer eventually came out though, probably a week or 2 later.

Then I called Michelle later on another day and got her voicemail and left a message (she never returned my call - third issue). I had to call her again another day to get ahold of her. It was a little while longer until I received an installation date. The installers were professional and did a good job when they arrived to install my windows.

All in all - I waited about 8 months from the time I inquired about windows to the day of installation. My issue with what happened was the lack of communication. Their staff are nice people and the workmanship is great. My experience from a communication standpoint was not the best.

Custom Aluminum had just completed my home not to long ago with soffit fascia and eavestrough . They did a wonderful job and I am very happy with the results . The crew and vlaz the sales guy were super nice. I would definitely recommend custom aluminum for any renovation work .

I had used this company before in my old house a few years ago. Me and my husband downsized into a smaller home and had called the company to come and quote the work needed at this home. We had a few people come and they were the most competitive. Knowing the service from before I trusted them to do the work correctly. I am so happy with my

We had more than 4 companies come out to quote our Aluminum Soffit and third story siding job. Some companies showed up in big fancy trucks and did not supply a written quotation. Custom Aluminum sent Bruce their salesperson. Bruce was an honest, diligent salesperson who was proactive when called upon.

At the beginning of our installation of Hardie board we encountered an issue with the colour. The product was installed before we noticed that the custom colour that took two weeks to order was incorrect. That's when we met Danny the owner and he took charge to remedy the issue quickly. They lost more than a couple of days work because the product was already installed and it was a custom colour. In the end, both crews executed well and quality was never compromised. The installation quality exceeded our expectations.

Because this job was initially estimated to be completed in a week, they had to switch crews because one of the crew had scheduled a vacation. Custom Aluminum sent another crew with the lead installer named Ibrahim. Ibrahim is a consummate professional.

The reason we did not deduct anything from their score of 10-10 was because we are experienced with renovations and we understand that mistakes can happen. How mistakes are handled is what is most important, and in the end we were incredibly happy with the resolution and work done by Custom Aluminum. We have again called Custom Aluminum back for another job and we look forward to working with their team again.
