We hired Cando Fencing to replace our fence of 20 years. The job also included two other neighbours who also replaced and installed fencing. From the onset of the job I was extremely impressed by the Project Manager Samer. He was friendly and professional and answered all of the questions that I had regarding the work. The community I live in is very compact and difficult to move heavy equipment around. I had initial concerns with how they were going to get the machinery in and maneuver around without damaging structures and landscaping. The crew came and finished the job without any issues and the final result was amazing. We went with 6x6 posts and the job we had done included about 52 feet of fence and two gates. The gates were really heavy duty and a huge improvement over the previous design and construction. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and again Samer was great and responded almost immediately to questions and requests I had. Happy customer.

Ever since we moved into our house we wanted to remodel our gas fireplace as it was a giant eye sore. The mantle looked terrible and the fireplace looked dated. I am not a designer and had a difficult time imagining how it could be transformed or what we should do. After researching companies we hired Cozy Home Comfort Plus. From day one of the consultation I was really impressed with the knowledge and experience of Brian who attended our house for the initial design and quote. He quickly assessed the fireplace and showed us some options that fit our budget and requirements. The pictures that we chose the remodel from looked great. Note, when the job was done the finished product was way beyond our initial expectations. The pictures did not do justice for the material and craftsmanship. The job was booked and completed very quickly. From the initial quote to the finished date took about 9 days! The job was broken down into different days for each trade to come in and do their piece. Each group was professional, friendly and cleaned up the area thoroughly. Having dealt with quite a few trades and renovations in the past I would say that they ranked as the best group I have dealt with from start to finish. I could not be happier and would highly recommend the company!

This is my first review on home stars for Markham Garage Doors. I have used them once before about 2 years ago to replace a broken spring. It was this initial contact that made me a repeat customer. At that time the service technician was extremely helpful, thorough and quick. The cost was reasonable and there was no attempt to have me buy a new garage door at that time. Fast forward to this transaction with the company. I wanted a basic double garage door and I went into their showroom to see what they suggested. I didn’t know what to expect but the young lady at the shop (Andrea) recommended a reasonable door that suited my purposes. The garage door on my house is a rear building facing a laneway and did not need to be very fancy. Again the company did not try to get me to buy any additional accessories or add ons. From the first contact at the shop, to the sales representative that came to my house and finally to the technician who installed the door I was extremely pleased with the courteous and friendly staff. Clean install without any issues and I would definitely recommend them to anyone interested. The technician Tim who came to the house was really friendly and did the job in about three hours, no fuss no mess. Great business and group of employees!
