I needed a upgrade to 200 amp of my old 100 amp electrical panel in order to accommodate the requirements of the new mini-split ductless heat pumps and of the electrical car battery recharging (car that we plan to buy in the future). One of the challenges was the replacement of the electrical pole: the current pole led to water leaks and ice built up under the roof during winter, so I needed an electrician enough careful so that the new pole would not lead to the same issues. After discussing with multiple electricians - all ESA (Electrical Safety Authority) certified - I've decided to go with Farad. Farad appeared to me from the beginning as a practical and knowledgeable technician, open to discuss different alternatives, and not shying away from debating when he believed that I was not quite right - I liked that, because I really wanted to ensure that I am not going to end up with potential issues down-the-road. New panel and pole have been installed 6 months ago, and everything works as intended. The panel and the whole arrangement look great (see photos), and the new circuit breaker panel is smaller, nicer and much more convenient than the old fuse panel. Thank you, Farad for your excellent work!

I had a 60+ years old house without A/C, so I've contacted about 5 HVAC companies to install an A/C system. After discussing with them and after doing my own in-depth research, I've come to the conclusion that a mini-split ductless solution would be the best fit for my relatively small rooms. I was not particularly fond about a multi-split heat pump (that can provide both A/C and heating) because I already have gas-fired boilers to heat the house and the water. Eventually, I've settled down for a combination of Mitsubishi two-zone heat pump unit and a purely A/C unit (single zone - our main bedroom). This would allow us to have a good control over the electrical bill. By far, Maple Air was the most useful in helping me choosing the right solution. Farzad was not only patient, but genuinely curious and interested in learning more, not just sticking with what the company has to offer. Maple Air quotation was actually higher than the rest, but the professionalism of their sales personnel (shown also in the accurate and very detailed quotation) convinced me to go with them. And now, 6 months after the installation, I can clearly say that I was not wrong: not only that Maple Air followed every single aspect of the contract, but everything has been done on the schedule, and the units have been working the whole summer without any glitch. I have to mention that my electricity bill is actually below the 2021 bills when I was using only one portable A/C unit in our bedroom, and only during the night. Great work of the installation team too. I was nervous about the level of vibrations of Mitsubishi outdoor units, so I've asked to install the units on the ground (not on the wall). I was not sure if I needed a concrete pad (to ensure the outdoor unit would not simply sink over time into the ground), or simply install the unit Aluminum frame directly on my interlock. For my satisfaction and peace of mind, Maple Air did procure and install the concrete pad (as per my dimensions!) but asked me how I like it. It didn't look great to me, so I've asked them to remove the pad - thank you for your effort! I have asked also to nicely cover the pipes and electrical cables: the coverings have been installed seamless and they look really great - please, see attached pictures. To summarize: great / very helpful sales personnel, excellent installation team (professional, clean, very polite). After six months of enjoying the work you have done, a sincerely thank you Maple Air!

For months I had this bad odor coming from the basement. I have suspected the kitchen drain line and tried to open it up. Unfortunately, my little Home Depot snake was no match for whatever plugged the drain. So, like most of the people in need, I went into internet to look for a plumber and found this company. It appeared to me that this is a serious company: they have 24 hours emergency call service, and the reviews looked good. In about one hour, the technician was at my door. With some high-tech equipment (digital camera) he found that the main sewer line was plugged with roots and other (bad, smelly) stuff. Even with their heavy-duty motorized snake he couldn’t get through the plug. Solution was to dig and replace the broken section of the pipe. And this is very expensive. I was not at all prepared for such a thing, but I realized that there are no other options, and, reluctantly I’ve accepted. The work started right next morning with a team of four people. They dug and got to the damaged pipe. It appeared that the pipe has been negligently cracked by another plumbing company who installed the back-flow valve about three years ago. It is amazing how fast the roots slipped through the cracks and filled up the pipe … All they need is a plentiful supply of water, no matter how dirty it is. The team replaced the cracked section, scoped the whole drain system with the digital camera in order to make sure there are no other signs that might play bad in the future. After that, they filled up the trench, compacted the soil, and poured 3 inch thick concrete on top of a gravel layer (I remember, the team who installed my back-flow valve years ago just dumped the soil without any compacting and they laid down a ridiculously thin layer of concrete that cracked all over, and had to be re-done (by me, obviously)). At the end, floor was cleaned up and the workers were good to go! From the time I called the company until the job was done, it was only one day. I have to admit that is was worth paying the money: the repair was professionally and quickly solved, and the warranty is 25 years. Many thanks to the hard working team: Iman, Shendon, Lino and Danny, thank you for your great work! It was a pleasure meeting people like you.
