We originally called Gail and Gilles to discuss various small projects we needed done around our house. We discussed finishing a room in the basement in future, and more immediate smaller projects. The first project was to do some minor repairs in the basement and to install a light fixture in the basement and a few more throughout the house. The day before our appointment we had had some flooding in the basement. We called someone to come snake the drain and they arrived while Gail and Gilles (G & G) were there. Mr. Rooter (see our review for them) determined that we were going to have to have parts of the basement dug up. Gilles suggested that G&G stop doing anything further in the basement until that was sorted since there was no point in us wasting money. We agreed. They moved upstairs to install 3 other ceiling lights, 2 of which were antique chandeliers. There was a piece missing from one of them and G&G went out to pick that up for us. They came back and installed all 3 lights. This wasn't easy since the previous owner had left unused wires and things in the ceiling. They fixed things though and Gilles even made sure that any smudges and fingerprints on the chrome light were removed before. The lights look beautiful and we are very happy with their work. They will be coming back soon to finish a minor job in the kitchen. We will then be calling them back to see about helping us with the basement which now needs renovation due to the drain problem we had. We are not very handy people so we were looking for someone with knowledge and expertise who could come and do the fixes, but also to advise us as to the best and most cost effective way to go about it. We are so happy that we found G & G. They are very professional, neat, and pleasant to work with. Of course we will be calling them again.

We called Mr. Rooter because our main drain backed up and caused minor flooding in the basement. After sending a camera down to have a look, they found that the clay drains that run from the City drains underneath our house seemed to be collapsing. They came back to dig out an area of the basement floor where it looked like the problem was. Our basement is finished and we only moved into this house 8 months ago. We bought it because the basement was finished so this news was devastating. Anyway, they had to destroy part of the floor. After the first exploration they discovered that the drains were collapsing from one end of the house to the other. Travis at Mr. Rooter felt very bad about telling us this. Every time he had to call me downstairs to see the new problems I could tell that he empathized and wished he didn't have to give us such bad news. He sent some men over to dig up various parts of the floor in order to replace the drains. These gentlemen worked so hard. This is a very disgusting job and I admire them for doing it. They also felt bad every time they had to show me the decaying clay and also, as it turns out, old iron pipe as well. We were told it would take 5 days but they finished it in 4. They completed the job from initial digging to covering the trenched areas with concrete, and cleaned up all the broken drain, dirt and tree roots that were dug up. We have used Mr. Rooter before for other things so they were the first ones I thought of because I knew they would come right away, that they would be honest with me, and that whatever needed to be done would be done properly. We would definitely call them again (although we hope we don't have to). Travis also worked with our insurance guy to ensure that he understood the extent of our problem. This was a horrible thing to happen just before Christmas, and our son can't move back downstairs until the contaminated flooring is removed and the basement disinfected (but that's a whole other issue now). But Travis and the drain guys were all wonderful to work with and made a truly horrible situation not so horrible. Thank you so much.

We moved into a recently renovated old house and there were no closets in the master bedroom. We called Kwik Kloset based on the quality of the reviews and we are so happy we did. Tom came out and gave us suggestions on the best way to build closets in the master bedroom where none existed. He showed us options on his computer which made it very easy to visualize the final result. We also had him design closet organizers to maximize space in our daughter's small closet, which was a bit of a challenge since we also had to allow access to the attic from there. Within a couple of weeks Shaun came to install the closets and organizers. There was a minor problem with the handles being incorrect, but that was rectified quickly and with no fuss. We love our new closets. They are beautiful to look at and everything we could have asked for in terms of storage. The quality of the product and the customer service are excellent. We would recommend Kwik Kloset to anyone.

We used Eureka this past summer to put together some IKEA furniture for us. (Sorry guys, I forgot to give you a review at the time.) We were very happy with their work. We called them back this past weekend to hang all our various artwork and heavy mirrors. Brian and Abdul did a fabulous job. Everything was hung up beautifully and safely and they provided valuable input when requested. They were also very neat and brought their own tools and supplies. We were missing some materials to hang things properly and they took care of that. We are not very handy so this was money very well spent. Finally, after 8 months, our new house finally looks like a home. Thanks Peter, Brian and Abdul. We'll be calling again if we ever need anything assembled or hung up on the walls.

We needed someone to move some of our furniture from the city to our weekend place in another town. We also needed to have some furniture moved from the garage to the third floor and other furniture moved around in each house. These guys were fantastic. Rocco and Tibor never stopped until the job was done. They went above and beyond what we ever would have expected. It was a long day for them, with 4 hours of driving as well. I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again. Thank you Maria, Rocco and Tibor. You were the best part of a time that was very stressful for us. We will definitely be calling you again. We were desperately needing to get our carpets cleaned before the holidays. The reviews for this company were good so we thought we'd try it. Adel was very pleasant to deal with and we set up a mutually convenient appointment. Matthew arrived a few minutes early on the appointed day and went through the house with us to size up the job and identify problem areas. He was tidy in his work, respectful of us and our home and did an amazing job with getting the stains out. The price was also very reasonable. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.
