Jonathan looked after our lawn this summer and did a great job. First & foremost - He was very dependable. Every week, without exception, my lawn was cut. (Based on experience, I know that this is not always the case!) Secondly, Jonathan was responsive. Not that I contacted him very often, but when I did, he responded immediately. I already recommended Jonathan to a neighbour. Thank you, Jonathan!

3yrs ago I purchased "Cleaning Protection" services from MAGI-SEAL and IN-HOME SERVICES. I strongly discourage anyone else from doing the same! They cancel apopointments with <2hrs notice and they don't finish the job! I felt like I was dealing with a sleazy insurance company that was trying to minimize a claim! Here is the quick story - 1. About a month ago I called to book a cleaning of my sofa and ottoman. I gave the service person a detailed description of the grease and food stains on the furniture on the frames and many (but not all) of the cushions on the sofa and ottoman. I booked an appointment for about 2wks later. 2. I rearranged my schedule to be home when the service person was to arrive. TWO HOURS before the cleaning appointment, I received a phone call that the appointment needed to be cancelled. CANCELLED ??? TWO HOURS NOTICE? I called immediately to book a new appointment for ASAP, but the soonest they could come would be over a week and a half later. 3. Last night my son and I took the time to put stickers next to the stains (see photos). My housekeeper let in the technician this morning. He spent less than half an hour here, and very clearly did not finish the job. My housekeeper told him so, but he said something about his boss not letting him do the job and he left. I guess he thought the shy housekeeper wouldn’t follow up? 4. I came home, took these photos and called them immediately. The response was that I received was that I need to file a formal complaint with a different department. (The number that I called was the number on the bottom of the receipt.) I understand their business model is to minimize cleaning jobs (i.e. expenses) - but I paid for service that was not completed.

Kris is FANTASTIC! He replaced our water heater, then he inspected our gas fireplace, which we haven't started EVER, in the 8yrs that we have lived here. Kris is punctual, very personable, trustworthy, and reasonable. It is a pleasure to hire Kris to help us out. I highly recommend Kris at Denmark Mechanical.

Frank is a fantastic handyman!!! He patched a huge hole in our dining room ceiling, and now you can't even see where the hole was. He took down and moved an old ceiling light fixture and set up a new one. Also did a few odd jobs around my house. Frank is punctual, thorough, creative, and does a high quality job! I strongly recommend The Handyman Frank.

Frank is a fantastic handyman! He arrives on time, works quickly through the list, and does a great job. On top of that, he also identified and fixed a few other minor things in my house . Delroy knows his appliances! He was at my house the same day I called him. He quickly and effectively diagnosed and fixed our refrigerator problems. Then he told me how I could fix our dishwasher myself. He also installed our electric wall oven. Delroy works quickly and gets the job done. He is also a nice man! I will definitely call him the next time we need help with one of our appliances. I recommend you do the same!

We had a leak under a bathroom sink that we didn't catch in time. The hardwood floor in the bathroom and hallway was warped and damaged. A friend I trust recommended Franco at Nature's Best to help us out. Well, Franco and his son, John, sanded and refinished the floors so they look as good as new. Not only was the work completed to a very high standard, it was done quickly, and for a reasonable price. They also took care to minimize dust and cleaned -up well after themselves. Franco and John are both very personable. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs help with their hardwood. Thank you Nature's Best !!!

Hiring Reiner to help us with our house Reno was the best thing we did! Reiner coached us on what shd happen, by whom, and when. He also warned us of common pitfalls. He developed a healthy relationship with our contractor and designer, but it he always acted in our best interest. Renovations are stressful, but Reiner gave us peace of mind. His rates are reasonable, and hiring him saved us $10,000s, not to mention saving us time and stress! Yes, we learned a lot about the reno process, but we will definitely hire Reiner if we ever do another renovation. THANK YOU, Reiner!

We have hired Frank to do painting, fix doors, and all sorts of small jobs. He works hard, does good quallity work, is punctual, and cleans up after himself. He is also a nice guy! I highly recommend Handyman Frank.

Dan the Handyman has done several projects for us, including building a wall & some built-ins, painting, plumbing, electrical, interior and exterior etc. He is not only professional, but he is also creative, helping us figure out cost-effective solutions for our home. There's a reason Dan is booked solid several months out. He is the best Handyman we can imagine.

After we bought our new house, we had a list of about 20 things we needed done before we moved in. I assumed we would need to hire a separate plumber, electrician, etc, but Dan was able to do it all - and it did an exceptional job, including creating a beautiful office, finding a match for our crown moulding, creating beautiful built-ins, some re-wiring and plumbing, installing a fan and LOTS of other things. Other than the quality of his work, what impressed us most was his creativity. Dan suggested several things that improved our ideas and some that even made things cheaper. Other comments: - He provided a very realistic quote of hours for each project - He was able to start EARLIER than he promised, and finished within the timeframe he estimated (altho we added other work to the list and were sad to see him go!) - His price was lower than two other handymen/contractors we had quote for the same jobs. - Overall, Dan is a trustworthy and great guy. If you need a Handyman, Dan is your man! Dan has been to our house at least three times now to help us with all sorts of things. He has purchased & installed new lights, built walls & cabinets, cleaned fans, painted speakers, and lots more. He does a fantastic job, follows up, cleans up after himself, and is happy to answer questions. If you need a handyman, I highly recommend Dan.

We had the entire interior of our new home painted. The Homelink quote was the lowest of 3 we solicited, so we decided to 'go for it,' based on their high Homestars ratings. We were glad we did! Reguel does most (or all) of the pianting himself, which is how he keeps his prices down. More importantly, Reguel is a meticulous painter and cleans up after himself. Because he is affiliated with Benjamin Moore, Reguel offers a free 1-hr colour consultation with a Benjamin Moore consultant. We found this to be incredibly helpful. Overall, we were thrilled with the job Reguel did. He started and finished on time, and even came in to paint on a stat holiday (and some weekends) when we switched one of the colours at the last minute. The guys at Majestic have inspected three houses in Toronto for us. The real estate agents and home sellers generally HATE them, because they are very good at discovering problems with houses. They are the only house inspectors we have heard of that truly represent buyers' interests. And - they are cheaper than the competition.
