I have two neighbors who got a quartz countertop from CTM. I saw both installs and they were very good. In one install they dented the wall when they pushed the countertop against the wall so it had to be fixed. I got a quote from them too, and I tried to get a better price elsewhere because I wanted a cash deal. I ended up paying the same as the quote I got from CTM, but I got a worse quality sink and whole range of problems including dent in countertop, dent in my cabinet, showing up without calling, problems getting it without a join/two pieces, etc. etc.... CTM asked my neighbors if they want join or not but they didn't ask me unfortunately, if they had I may have gone with them, because without a join the price is a lot cheaper and the other company was easily able to lure me with the better price.

They did a thorough job, used a cell phone camera to see inside the ducts and try to get everything out. I suggested to Paul some improvements they could make to reduce the dust blowing into the house from their truck and he was very friendly. Overall they put a best effort into trying to get the dust out of the ducts and made sure to go to each one and blow it with compressed air.

When I called in, I was given a lot of information about the mold inspection, and what it will cover. Part of the things mentioned was that a thermal imaging device will be used to see if there is any water leakage anywhere. This was one of the deciding factors which I decided to get it done. During inspection, no thermal imaging device was ever used. Ross did a somewhat thorough inspection, although there were areas that he missed completely, such as the garage. The control sample for a mold inspection should be taken at least 10-20 feet away from the structure, however Ross took the measurement right on the front porch, which is within 6 feet of the cold cellar vent. I was also told I would be e-mailed some additional information, which I never got in the end.

Thanks for taking time to post a review Chris! Many people go to the internet for information on mold and there is a lot of misinformation or just too much information which people will take as fact. I have taken a multitude of indoor air quality courses over the years and the general thought is..the control can be taken at the front door if chosen or the hallway if chosen or 10- 20 feet away from the property if chosen, the point is...it's subjective. The thermal imaging detects temperature differentials which we just don't have this time of year and at the end of it we just end up verifying the thermal image with a moisture meter anyways. At the end of it I hope you were satisfied with the outcome of the indoor air quality test and please don't hesitate to call me anytime if you have any further questions...Cheers..Ross.
