Great service, and repair work. Found some serious issues to address and repaired them 'before' they became a serious problem. (We're deep in the cottage country bush, so this was key.)

I have used Harris Plumbing on several occasions, some being 'emergency' repairs, including a midnight call on a Friday night. Were on-site within to hours of my call. On-time, on budget with high quality work and quality tradespeople. (You do NOT want to compromise with cottage plumbing!) I was having busted pipes in the spring, from frozen pipes which had 'residual' water in them after draining in the fall. I keep my cottage heating on in the winter months at around 45F. However, the lengthy and usual power failures in Muskoka would result in minor un-drained water freezing in sections of pipe. Harris Plumbing re-piped all the critical/suspect areas (entire basement) and also graded piping high to low at (with drain taps) to ensure proper winter drainage. New pressure tank also installed. It just doesn't get any better than Harris Plumbing... period.

Approximate cost of services:
$2,945.00

After the Mother was humanely trapped, we could hear a baby raccoon crying, stuck behind a wall in one of our bedrooms. Louis has the proper equipment (thermal imaging camera/scanner) to locate the baby's exact location. He then very neatly removed a few inches of baseboard, cut a small piece of drywall out (easy to repair afterward) and gently removed the baby raccoon. When we asked Louis on how we can avoid this from happening in the future, he offered a full house/roof inspection to ascertain any areas of concern and gave us a very reasonable estimate to conduct some 'preventive' maintenance work. This was completely neatly and efficiently on that same visit. (And all this on the Monday of the Victoria Day long weekend.) We have dealt with other wildlife removal services (our home is on a provincial park border), and we have never found a more professional and skilled individual like Louis from A-1 Checkmate Wildlife Removal & Prevention. He will be the only call we ever make should wildlife removal services be required and would not hesitate to recommend him to our friends and family.

Thank for this great review and great work description .
Trapping doesn't always solve issue ...previous wildlife guy have not carefully check all space and a babies was left behind . When Steve call to ask if we could help with the situation we imidiatly told him that we diffinitly can help him with this issue ...when arrived we located where the last babies was trap and carefully cut wall behind wall trim on bottom to do minimum damage.we did prevention to be pro-actives so this situation will not reoccurred
Best regards
