I had a dripping faucet in my shower. I found Award Plus Plumbing on HomeStars and sent them an e mail with my information. Alex returned my message within a half hour and we made an appointment for him to come the following day. Alex arrived earlier than we had originally planned and was terrific. He explained what he was doing every step of the way and even did a quick examination of some of the other plumbing in the house to make sure there were no problems. He was quick, friendly and efficient. I would not hesitate to use Award Plus for any further work.

I wanted some trees removed from the front of my house, and a bush from the back of the house. I posted a request on HomeStars. I was surprised to receive a response from Jack within five minutes of posting. We arranged to meet the following day where he thoroughly explained what the job would entail and gave me a ball park estimate. He confirmed that estimate by email that night and we set a date for the work to be completed five days later. Jack and his crew showed up early, completed the job quickly, and even agreed to do some more work that I suggested might be a future job. They cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Jack and his crew. Ten stars do not do them justice.

I needed some bushes and weeds removed from my backyard. Ivan came and gave me a really good quote. The workers showed up exactly on time and did a really nice job of removing the yard waste. There was a minor problem with removing the waste, but it was quickly solved and they did a great job of taking it away. Dave phoned me when the job was done to make sure I was satisfied. He really cares about customer satisfaction. I will definitely keep them in mind for future jobs.

I needed my twenty-five year old deck to be resurfaced. I contacted five different companies to give me estimates. Only one showed up at the appointed time and only one submitted a quote when they said they would. Even after prodding by me, two never did submit a quote. The estimates I received were between eleven thousand ( they claimed the frame would have to be replaced as well ) for pressure treated wood and thirty !!! For a composite surface. ( they said there was no need for a new frame ). My neighbour had a deck put in last year. I asked him who did it and he recommended Adrian at Aqua Wood Works. I contacted Adrian and he came out the same day. He sent me a quote for pressure treated wood the following day, and began work three days later. He and his crew took three days to complete the job. He is an absolute pleasure to work with and they did a great job.

A seamless procedure from beginning to end. Gary and I communicated by e mail. He was always prompt on return e mails. He came out to the house and we spent about an hour discussing the job with him taking measurements. He said the lead time for installation was about 11 weeks. He contacted me 6 weeks later to say they were ready to install. The installers arrived when they said they would, took the better part of two days ( one of which was intermittent pouring rain ) and did a terrific job which included a thorough clean up. I would definitely recommend Century Aluminum for eavestrough work.
