Family-run business, which is one of the things that attracted me to this company. They definitely know their product and they provide great follow-up after the installation. They are very flexible about times to come by to do check ups. Really enjoy the conversations with Alex ... about so many things above and beyond heating/cooling.
New construction - hardwood flooring
We were very pleased with the selection offered by Town and Country. We live far from the showroom, and our sales person was able to arrange for me to view some product closer to home. He also dropped hardwood samples off at my workplace to make it more convenient for me.
Over the past 3 years I have been making regular trips to purchase paint (mostly Benjamin Moore) at Royal City Colours. The staff there are super friendly and very helpful. They know their product well. They laugh when, 3 years later, I am STILL painting the exterior of my house!
New construction - wall to wall carpets
Our sales person (Andy) was helpful and knowledgeable. The installer really knew what he was doing. I also appreciated that he was easy to talk to and that he explained the process in a way that I understood what was going on.
Stor-More installed organizers in all of the closets in our new home. They are amazing!!! When I look in my walk-in closet I feel like I am in a show home. The organizer in my office means I can keep all my work stuff out of site. Julie is extremely helpful. The installers were careful and really took pride in their work. I would recommend them to anyone contemplating closet organizers. Their prices are very reasonable.
Installation of engineered flooring in basement
We needed 3/4" engineered hardwood for the basement and were having a difficult time finding something suitable. Acorn had a hickory product that my mom really liked. Installed it is beautiful. I liked dealing with Val (in the office). She is organized, personable, funny, and knowledgeable. I felt like I was dealing with a small business that took pride in their work and cared about their customers.
When building our new home we started with an account at Dick's Lumber. We have been able to get most of our building supplies there. They have a great array of products. Prices are super competitive. Sales desk staff are very, very busy (sometimes distracted by handling too many customers at once), but still they are polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. The young guys who help out in the lumber yard are great.
Our Euroline windows are beautiful - looking from the inside or looking at the outside. Quality workmanship. Delivery people/installers were very friendly. We paid for the quality, but it's worth it.
Crown Roofing are truly professional. They hire skilled people who know exactly what they are doing. There is a lead-hand on site at all times and a project manager comes by several times a day. There work is excellent and they deal with any concerns promptly. Not the lowest quote, but we were very pleased with the end result.
