Had the carpet removed from the two bedrooms in my suite and replaced with laminate. I liked it so much that I ordered the same laminate for the living and dining areas. When it was installed, the product looked very different from the bedrooms. Home Depot agreed to replace it and re-ordered the product. When it arrived, it did not look any better. Ray and the salesperson in the Coquitlam Home Depot store phoned the factory, insisted that they view the product in different lighting situations before sending it out, then spread it out and checked it themselves before sending it to me again. Third time, the match was perfect. What I appreciated most, even though it took a few months to get what I wanted - a really good match to a product that I really, really liked, the store kept at it until they were assured that I was happy. Customer satisfaction is important to this sales person, the installation manager and the store. Much appreciated, and I would purchase other product from them because of their persistence and willingness to have me happy with their product.

I have a gas stove. After another company supposedly did a "repair" that would keep the oven door from remaining locked after going through a self clean cycle, i gave up on them and called Platinum services. The technician called the factory, as per factory request when the first two "repairs" had been done. It turned out that the first repair service had not followed the manufacturer's recommendations. Platinum showed me what needed to be changed, then did it. This oven has worked perfectly for the last four years, and I anticipate no further issues. Because of this, I called them when I thought I had a dishwasher problem. Turned out that I did not have the "problem" I thought I had. I'd simply not realized what was making all of the noise - a dish sitting the wrong way, catching the spinning arm of the washer. The technician could have gouged me, but instead gave a very, very minimal cost for "labour" and the standard service call charge. This is expected, as the service person had to travel quite a distance to come and check out the problem for me. I trust this repair service. They are knowledgeable, kind, and honest.

I purchased two book cases from Pacific Living Interiors before they closed their store on Lougheed Highway. They are beautifully finished, look very nice in my home and were delivered quickly and in excellent shape. Pacific Living Interiors is opening at a new location. I will visit them and purchase from them again.

Had screen door installed recently, to keep cats in, bugs out. One cat pushed head against door. Screen pushed out, and cats both out on balcony. Screenwrighters were not prepared to accept return of the doors or to give a refund until I called Costco, where I'd purchased them. Costco arranged for pick up of the screen and refund. Would I recommend Screenwrighters? Absolutely NOT!!
