Contacted Chris for this job as he was highly recommended by my sister who had a similar job done. I had an old hot water tank that was nearing end of life and wanted to replace it before it started leaking. I got several quotes from others and Chris's quote was the most expensive. I could have gone with any of the cheaper quotes but I wanted to make sure that the job will be done right and that they will stand behind their work. And that is exactly what you will get when dealing with Chris. I could tell he really knows his stuff vs when I spoke to other company reps who were more salesmen than an actual plumbers. They are a smaller owner/operator business and as such you get to deal directly with the owner vs the bigger companies where you feel like you're more a number than person.

We have some Aluminum wiring in our house that needed to be properly retrofitted to meet requirements for out insurance company. Cory provided a quote and the work was completed with no surprise surcharges. Mac came fully prepared and the work was completed quickly despite there being more items than I had originally estimated. I even learned a lot about EV charging stations from Mac, which will be useful whenever I go to an EV vehicle. They are qualified licensed electricians and know their stuff. Don't cut corners and go for the cheapest quote. Get a qualified professional

My chimney was leaking badly with all the rain we've been getting. I called several companies but most were too busy to even come out to give me quote. Dunbar was quick in getting out to give a quote and quick to get the job started and completed. I was not too impressed when I spoke to some of the other companies who didn't seem to specialize in the type of work. Dunbar seemed to know the right way to tackle such a repair. Which involved grinding out the old mortar and drying out the brickwork before applying the new mortar. They were a bit more expensive than some of the others but at least you'll have peace of mind that the job was done properly vs a quick fix that won't last. The job took 2 days. A lot of that involved grinding out the old mortar. I'm happy to report that there is no more leakage despite the heavy rain we've been getting the last few days. The workers were professional and knowledgeable and cleaned up everything when done.
