He comes when he says he will and, if there is a timing issue, calls to alert you, explain why and to verify that the change is acceptable to you. My washing machine crashed on Thanksgiving Sunday! So I went to HomeStars immediately and left messages with 3 recommended companies, expecting to hear back Monday or Tuesday. Within an hour Peter phoned, asked questions to determine the possible nature of the problem, gave me a confirmed appointment Monday and said he'd bring the parts he might need with him in order to save time and money. He was on time, courteous and diagnosed the likely cause promptly. Unfortunately, it was an electronic problem (computer glitch) which would be an expensive part, not economical for this "old" machine. When I indicated I'd been thinking about replacing the washer/dryer soon, he used what I'll call an "override" to get the machine going again, alerting me that I would have to avoid using the "pause" in the program or the problem would reoccur. Given that replacing the computer would have been very expensive, I am shopping for a new washer/dryer and the current Bosch is working just fine while I deliberate. He also generously shared his experience with the newest lines of washer/dryers from the service perspective, which I found particularly valuable. Peter saved me money and gave me excellent advice. I'll call him with any other appliance repairs I have and recommend him to friends and family. Thanks Peter!

The job involved difficult paper removal and wall prep prior to painting. It was done skillfully and expertly, on time and on budget. The painters were professional, affable and maintained a tidy workplace which is appreciated in a home. They responded promptly to a request for a few touch-ups (no surprise given the size of the job) and have guaranteed the job for two years. I would certainly use them again! I had 4 quotes for this job and there's was in the "middle" and I considered it to be reasonable. Their overall timeliness and communications are, I think, unparalleled in the industry.
