Great work. Only minor complaint is I hadn't expected the fumes to be as strong as they were, otherwise I'd have had the work done in the spring/fall when I could have left the doors and windows open rather than winter.

Nathan came highly recommended by a friend and on our community Facebook page, so when our furnace died and our Enercare maintenance plan didn't cover the $2500+ repair (of course), we had him quote on a replacement. His quote was more than reasonable, and he was professional, pleasant and patient in answering questions. He was able to replace our furnace quickly, and his crew was terrific, too -- a friendly and efficient team. I would not hesitate to recommend Green Choice for all HVAC services.

We've used Wild West a few times: once for moving house, another time for moving a washer and dryer from a a friends house to ours (not an easy job, given the very narrow basement stairways in both locations). The guys are cheerful, friendly, punctual and fast. And my husband did in fact recommend this company to his mother when she moved -- she was as delighted as we were.

December is an odd time of year for an A/C install, but we wanted to catch the deadline for the Toronto Hydro rebate on upgrading old units. We had called Reliable back in the summer to do a patch job on our decrepit old unit when it died on the hottest day of the year (if not the century). We knew we needed a new unit and we were so happy with the service then that we knew we'd use Reliable again for a new A/C. The owners, Rob L. and Dave, have been terrific to deal with. The installers, Jamie & Rob A., were a pleasure to have around -- they handled an unexpectedly tricky installation with consummate professionalism, skill and good humour, and offered invaluable advice along the way. We heartily recommend Reliable.

Phenomenal results! As Will said, they left me speechless. We couldn't be happier! We have a lovely old iron kitchen sink, double sink, double washboards, but it had been re-coated a couple of times with epoxy paint and who-knows-what. It was impossible to clean and the coating was peeling off and permanently filthy-looking (attempts to clean it just made it worse). We met Will at the Home Show in March (and checked the company out on Home Stars as well), and the process seemed like a good fit for us. Will and Chris were terrific -- the prep work involved in removing the inferior stuff used to coat the sink previously was really tedious and labour-intensive, but they did it properly and took the care needed to get really professional results. If you're worried about the smell, it doesn't last very long. I'm very sensitive to paint fumes, varnishes etc., and usually can't sleep in a house that's been recently painted, but this product didn't have the same effect. That said, we were able to keep windows and the back door open for extended periods to ventilate.

The Duct Cleaning Specialists had been on my shortlist to call just based on the glowing HomeStars reviews, and by sheer coincidence friends who'd just had their ducts cleaned recommended Paul Hannah highly too when they knew I was looking, and they were right. Paul is pleasant, thorough and completely professional. He treated our home with respect, he was meticulous in his workspace, and he remained cheerful despite the brutal heat and humidity of a Toronto summer. An outstanding HomeStar.

We were lucky enough to have Richard from National do our home inspection on short notice and we were very impressed with his thoroughness, attention to detail, patience and excellent communication skills. Our agent, who has worked with many inspectors, was equally impressed.
