From the moment I called into The Mold guy, I was greeted with friendly staff and helpful information. They provided a free estimate and consultation and left a detailed quote and description of work that needed to be completed. When I booked, they were on time, courteous and professional. Got a part of my basement mold-free within 4-5 hours. They follow up with a phone call the next day to make sure you are satisfied with the service and if there is anything more we needed. I called Bosco to fix a problem with the vents. There was limited air coming out of some vents in the living room, and the room was cold. They came, charged a diagnostic fee, but wanted to charge me 109 to clean the furnace, 109 to clean the EAC, 53 service call, 350 for a camera fee that they would have to come back for, plus whatever extra labour afterwards. This is all BEFORE taxes. Over $700 and no sign of the problem being fixed, because "the furnace and the vents were completely different issues". Very unsatisfied. Needless to say I did not get them to do any work on my house. I went with another company and got quoted for less than half of what Bosco was charging me. I was still required to pay Bosco $53 for the service call.

I called Pestend after discovering that there was possibly a raccoon on my roof making all kinds of noises at night. Tony, an employee at Pestend, came the same day and installed a one way door. He was very friendly and reassuring. His professionalism and knowledge on the matter left us at ease knowing our problem was fixed and we have been able to get a good nights rest ever since.
