I would recommend Peter the owner of Cozzy Electric to anyone that needs an experienced, knowledgeable and honest professional. When our previous electrician failed to keep an appointment last week and left us waiting an entire day with no explanation, I was very happy to find Peter's company. I made an appointment for the next day, I was sent a confirmation for the appointment and Peter showed up at the appointed time. He did a complete check-up and fixed other things that had been missed by our previous electrician and took the time to explain the work and how we should monitor things during a power outage. We needed to have asbestos tiles removed from our cottage located on Lake Scugog. I could not find a local company to complete the job. I was very concerned until I talked to Andre about our situation and he assured me it would not be a problem to travel the distance. The job was completed 2 days after I spoke to Andre and I was very impressed by the efficiency and professionalism demonstrated. The site was left tidy and clean and they removed all garbage. The piece of mind Air Doctors gave me was invaluable. My highest recommendation goes out to Andre and his associate.

I highly recommend the team at IBW surveyors in Bowmanville. When my neighbour told me he was having a survey of his property done I asked if the company would be willing to survey our lot at the same time. They agreed to complete both the lots and also gave us a discount too. I found everyone at IBW to be very courteous, professional and informative whenever I phoned. They are a great team, really appreciate their customers and provide the best service.

After reading the reviews for Dr. Antenna on HomeStars I phoned Chris and described my problem with our existing antenna. Chris was on another job however he was very patient as I described the problem and told me he would phone later in the day with some suggestions. True to his word he not only phoned but asked if he could stop at the house and look at the antenna. Within half an hour he solved the problem and checked the installation of the existing antenna too. I was very happy with his skills and knowledge in diagnosing the situation so quickly. We contacted the owner of Stanley Communication to restore our TV service at our cottage. The TV antenna and other equipment was hit be lightning. We had used the company 3 years ago to install TV equipment at another location. A deposit of $350 was needed to pick up supplies and a date was set to install. That date was cancelled and another set, unfortunately it was also cancelled. Later we were told that the price had gone up another $150 so we decided to cancel the work and asked for our deposit back. To bad for us we have not heard from the company so we wanted to warn other prospective costumers about the unethical behaviour this company practices.

I waited a year to write my review in order to evaluate how well our new driveway withstood the harsh winter of 2015. Today the concrete looks as amazing as it did last year due to the hard work of Paul and his dedicated team of men. They not only created a strong , solid surface which looks great, but they effectively integrated it with the existing concrete structures around the garage and provided an effective drainage system too. High praise also goes to Paul and his team foe respecting our neighbour's landscape and taking the time to explain to them what he would be doing as well as answering their questions. It is very rare to find a contractor today who still takes pride in his work and enjoys the job he is doing. Thank you Paul and your team of dedicated guys! Sharon

Last fall we ordered an exterior steel door with a window and screen at the top and had it installed by Rona Golden Mile. After the door was installed the weather was still good so I painted the inside surface only. Next day I noticed water on the floor and the paint was peeling below the window of the door. The weather stripping on the bottom of the door was also coming off. I have phoned Rona for the past two months for help with the problem but nothing has been done to help us . I am worried that the water will eventually get inside the door and do more damage. I would not recommend Rona Golden Mile because they do not care once they have your money.

We had several older windows to replace, many were in the basement. Best Line arrived and removed all the old windows and storm windows as well as security bars. They replaced them with energy star windows at a very resonable price. I would use this company again when replacing older windows.

During the summer of 2010, Umbrella waterproofing completely sealed the outside walls of our house. We were very happy with their work. A month later when a contractor from the city of Toronto was replacing a lead pipe near our house he hit the gas line and had to phone Enbridge to fix the pipe. We also discovered that during this time their crew had knocked a 22 inch long pipe through our newly waterproofed basement wall. After 3 weeks of phoning the city of Toronto and Enbridge, nothing had been fixed so I phoned Vlad on a Friday afternoon. On Monday his crew came to the house, repaired the damage to our wall and provided me with pictures and a full report of the situation. Thank you again Vlad and crew for your help with this serious problem. We really appreciate everything you have done. Sharon

The Umbrella team transformed our damp, musty basement into a usable space.Vlad and his impressive team did a good job waterproofing the basement walls, replacing a lead water pipe and installing new cleanouts and a bathroom drain.

After reading the reviews on Homestars, I called Frank and asked for a price to remove all the old drywall and insulation in our basement. After giving me a firm quote, Frank took the time to explain the cost of the job and he made sure I told him everything I needed done. Frank and his associate arrived when he said they would and they worked non-stop for the entire day. I was asked to inspect the job during the day to see if they had missed anything.The basement looks great now and it was left very clean too. Frank also made sure the dumpster they ordered did not damage the driveway. They are great guys and I highly recommend their company and will use their service in the future.

Zenic provided me with a firm quote for my attic insulation. He and his associate arrived on time and completed the job very efficiently. Clean-up was good and the best part was he was very patient when I asked many questions about my house. Zenic provided me with all the information about attic ventilation in a kind and knowledgeable style.
