Last year Gator did an excellent job for replacing windows in our bedroom -- 10/10 for that job. This year, I have been trying to get them do a new job for doors and more windows. Took 3 calls and 2 months to get a visit and now waiting 3 months for a quote. I keep calling their head office each time they give me a 'sorry, we'll get back to you'. If you are too busy to take on work, just tell me please! I like their work and Harold is good to deal with, so I don't know what the issue is, but be prepared for poor communications and follow up. I give up!

Our 17 year old home had a few windows that failed (you could see the condensation between the panes). We researched manufactures and found Gator carried some of the best rated brands that are manufactured in Canada. The visit was arranged very quickly. The representative looked at all our windows and suggested only some of them needed to be replaced (he didn't try to oversell at all). The quote was reasonable and what i expected for good quality product installed by guys who know what they are doing. Nice people to deal with it all went very smoothly. I'm sure you can get cheaper stuff elsewhere but you get what you pay for.

We found Balsam Plumbing on a Beaches Facebook page. We gave him a call and as soon as they heard we had to shut the water off in the house, he came over within a hour or so. The fix was fast and the price was fair. He is now our 'go to' guy for plumbing in future. A+ job.

$400 was for call out charge. Long story short, the guy they sent tried to up sell a $1600 replacement of the whole shower set when all that was required was a new valve stem in the handle. They wanted another $200 for that. he was unable to do this simple job (another plumber came later and did it in 5 minutes). They never returned many many calls to discuss this. Now heading to small claims court. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Worst service EVER.
