Last Oct. 2018 my A/C was no longer running well. Due to a debris clogged pipe, a condensate pan overflowed and water leaked all over and damaged the blower and electronics. Had I had Renato's advice when I first moved in I would have had kept an eye on this and probably saved myself a bundle. Since it was the end of cooling season and the blower was dead, we decided to replace the furnace only. As it was, Renato provided a straightforward quote. What I like about working with Renato is how no-nonsense he is. He didn't try to oversell me on a unit with an efficiency and cost beyond where I would never recoup the added cost through a reduced energy bill. Besides that he really knows his stuff, the work is top notch, he comes on time and delivers as promised. This spring we went forward with replacing the A/C evaporator and outside unit as well. It hasn't been hot enough yet to require it but I'm expecting it to perform as smoothly as the furnace did through the winter.

Randi was responsive to my emails and it was equally as straightforward to book an appointment to discuss the job. Basically I was in the process of planning a landscape renovation and wanted to add an external receptacle and LED driver for low voltage lighting outside the home. The price quoted was reasonable and he was able to accommodate the schedule. The wiring, panel work, exterior hole and external run was done professionally. No problems whatsoever. I would not hesitate to work with AES again for any future electrical work.

Steven and his team were fantastic to work with. One challenge was designing around an existing corner fireplace. The style of the original mantel would not have matched well so it was necessary to remove it and design a new mantel to meet and seamlessly transition to the new wall unit. The design also included puck lighting for the top row of the unit. I have some experience with woodworking so it was a pleasure to see the care, attention to detail and the workmanship that was applied. I would say that the job was near flawless from consultation, design through to installation. The cost was not cheap, but for something that very much enhances the look of our family room and that we intend to enjoy for years, it was worth the investment.

From the first time I contacted Tom, his responsiveness to my questions and queries was reassuring. When we arrived to the home inspection site and all during the inspection, he was clear and concise describing his plan to tackle this 6000+ sq. ft. home. This is the third inspection I have had over the years and by far the best. Previous inspections had not provided embedded photos in the report highlighting areas of concern. Also, the additional cost for the infrared inspection was in my option highly valuable in making sure there were no unseen moisture, heating/cooling, insulation or other HVAC or plumbing issues. His service is not the least expensive but with real estate costs what they are, it is full value and I would not hesitate to use him again in the future.
