I recently had the pleasure of working with Black Forest Woodworking for custom cabinetry in my home, and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

From start to finish, Istvan's professionalism, craftsmanship and attention to detail was incredible.

During our initial consultation, he took the time to understand my needs and provided thoughtful suggestions that ultimately made the piece really come to life. He sketched out the entire design to ensure I was happy with the design before moving forward.

During installation, Istvan and his crew were punctual and completed the installation fairly quickly. He also was super accommodating when I had picked up standing desk legs that did not fit with the original design. He took the time to consult with a welder so that we could make it work.

The cabinetry itself is absolutely stunning - even better than what I had imagined. It has clean lines, beautiful finishes and exceptional functionality. It is clear that Istvan and his team take great pride in their work.

I will absolutely use them again for future projects and recommend them to my friends and family!

Istvan did an amazing job with a custom wall unit for me. He was very good at setting expectations and delivered when she said he would deliver. They quality was very high ( much better than previous custom woodworking professional ) and even t went above the call of duty to made some modifications on site that were not part of the original.

I needed a custom floating vanity and cabinet above my toilet. This had proven to be more challenging than anticipated.

István visited our home, took measurements and provided expert suggestions on what would work in our space. I wanted to install a custom fireplace mantel that would work with a TV above in a very limited space. I chose Black Forest Woodworking because they had a great portfolio of similar small projects and because Istvan spoke about the work as a craft versus a service. He understood my thumbnail drawings, listened to concerns, offered solutions, kept me in the loop on all the details, and executed with utmost precision.
