Denis and his crew are wonderful. The first time I had work done by GTA Siding, I had my garage sided with vinyl. This time I had my 26 year old troughs and downspouts replaced. Denis is polite, conscientious, calls and arrives when he says he will. The quality of his work is excellent. Our front stairs (15) were shifting due to sand and two piece interlock material treads. The flagstone had also shifted over 25 years. I wanted solid stone treads to be placed on the existing interlock walls, the railing to be re-used, and the flagstone to be re-laid. Carlo of Stoneworks was confident that this could be realized. Other companies seemed very negative. They either wanted to replace everything, or not re-use my railing ($4000.00), or suggested a compromise. Not Carlo. He took one look and together we planned it out. I recommend Carlo and his team very highly. Courtesy, prompt response to email or phone, delivery of his promises on time and on budget, and an outstanding job. He consulted with me as the work progressed to be sure I was happy. They are professional, have attention to detail, and provide quality workmanship. They show up on time, work hard all day and leave the job site clean. I feel very fortunate to have found Carlo. My stairs would still be waiting to be done if I hadn't found him. Normally, stairs are built then they are measured for the railing to be made. In this case, I had an existing railing to be re-installed. Carlo measured and planned it out carefully, and the result is fantastic. We had a complicated project of replacing 15 interlock stair treads with solid stone. I wanted the existing interlock retaining walls to remain, and the galvanized steel railing to be re-used. Two flagstone patio areas at the top also needed to be re-laid. Since we have pure sand substrate, I wanted to be sure there would be no more shifting. Carlo and his team did a fantastic job. He knew exactly what to do in order to give me the look and longevity I wanted. I interviewed no less than 8 companies for this job, and Carlo was the only person who came even close to doing what I wanted. I recommend Carlo very highly. He is courteous, always answers his emails and phone in a timely manner, delivers what he promises on time and on budget, and did an excellent job on my project. He involves the client every step of the way from explaining the process to double checking before going ahead if he has a question. He and the team showed up on time and worked hard all day. The job site was kept clean. There is no room here to store materials, so Carlo even went and picked up the stone with his truck in several loads. My railing fits perfectly. Normally the stairs are built and the railing is then made to fit the stairs. Carlo had to do it backwards. No other company would do this, and that railing would cost $4000.00. Greg and his punctual, polite team delivered a spa to our difficult second storey deck. The job was assessed at an initial visit, accurately, with trouble shooting due to wires and a steep drive. The job was completed perfectly, no damage, good cleanup. Very professional.
