MissT in Bloordale Village

I looked for 3 YEARS for someone who would come and replace the pipes we had as they were not to code and were leaking condensation back into our house. The drywall had molded and we were in danger of spreading mold to the children in the house. It has to be done this Fall or we were going to be in big trouble again this winter. The dehumidifier was helping but it was not going to be enough. After calling, Mike arrived immediately and showed me his list of degrees, certificates, diplomas and honourary certificates for everything from AutoCAd to Electrcial Engineering - this guy has credentials for days! The job was quick, painless, they cleaned up every particle of dust, treated my Mom like a queen, played with the kids and even came back to check the caulking a day later. When I asked him to put in a fireplace, he said NO! it wouldn't solve my heating issue and recommeded another contractor who could address it faster and cheaper. i will not hesitate to call them again for any issues about heating, electricity or my furnace. Every year in the fall we have our house treated for mice, bugs and any other creepy crawlers as we live downtown (next to an apartment building0 and we like to make sure our "shields are up" through out the entire winter. Jim was available the same day we called, arrived early, checked out the house from top to bottom and made recommendations we had never recieved in the FOUR past treatments from years past. He suggested we cover the vents for the furnace leading outside with wire mesh (new!) and also went so far as to put bait in crevices we didn't know we had. He went an extra step when we thought our family dog had been exposed to the bait. Checking in almost hourly on his progress, Jim was sure to give us all the possible symptoms, reactions and potential issues that might face our dog. He followed up days after, making sure the puppy was doing well and called often to check on his progress. A real gentleman, "stand-up guy" he was courteous to my Mom, the entire family and really cared about the end result. Cody is fine, he was sick from something else entirely and we are all healthy and happy in our critter -free house!!

We had to ring Mike because our family couldn't sleep from the scratching noises the mice were making around the house. He arrived quickly, identified the entry points, gave us homework to fix some holes and explained each step along the way. The bait he left was effective and slowly the solution worked. He did have to come back several times to leave more bait and alleviate our panic but with patience (and his 90 day guarantee) we solved it safely and humanely.
