Dealing with Mason was incredible. He made multiple visits to work through every detail of the project with me. After we chose York Development Group, he started on time and worked incredibly hard. As lumber was virtually sold out in Toronto, Mason visited numerous suppliers in nearby cities before finding lumber in Muskoka. He then went to work with Derek (Skippa) and the two worked tirelessly with incredible attention to detail. Every aspect of the project was done to perfection. The end result is even better than we pictured it. Mason will be my first call if I need any work done in the future and I highly recommend York Development Group. We have already referred them to multiple neighbors.

Fatih and his crew were incredible. He gave me a budget, and a short timeline (1 week) which I liked. They didn’t miss a beat. On time, on budget and perfectly done. They even worked through the weekend to ensure they met the timeline. He was easily the most responsive contractor I have ever worked with and it is clear he knows what he is doing. We are very happy with the end result and would hire him again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend Aristacan.

Sara provided a great design that met our needs and Ahmad did a fantastic/quick installation. I would use them again.

Act Fast was one of several companies we met for quotes for our basement waterproofing job, which involved removing drywall and then waterproofing one part of our basement with a sump pump and back-up pump. Colm was by far the most professional and honest of the contractors we met. Did not try to upsell and suggested simple cost effective solutions. The work was completed in a timely, efficient and professional manner and Colm also took the effort to save money where possible. We are very pleased with the job and highly recommend Colm and Act Fast.

Designed and built a basement wall unit (TV unit and office unit with shelving and desk), built in pantry and a mudroom for our basement entrance. From the beginning Wil, Chris, Jon and the rest of the team were professional, timely and very friendly. There were complications due to the uneven basement in our older Toronto home but they worked around those issues and completed something we are very happy with. They were on time and within budget. I would definitely use them again and will be recommending them to others.

We bought a TV stand with an electric fireplace from the Leon's Roundhouse a couple of weeks ago. At the time of purchase, we confirmed that the TV stand would be assembled on delivery. Leon's confirmed that it would be assembled and all we had to do was install the fireplace. Sure enough, the TV stand is delivered in a box in a thousand pieces. When we speak to the delivery guys, they rudely drop the box, walk out and say call Leons. We speak to someone at Leons, who eventually apologized because (supposedly) nobody at the Roundhouse store knew that the TV stand was not assembled because "it is a new stand". They agreed to have their third party assembly company contact us to assemble the TV stand the next day. It's now been a week and I haven't heard a thing from them. We ended up putting it together ourselves. In a nutshell, uninformed salespeople, rude delivery people, empty apologies and terrible service. Shop at your own risk.
