Carlo helped me with my pest issue in the backyard. He arrived ahead of schedule, was extremely knowledgeable, did what he came to do, answered all my questions, and overall is a great and trustworthy guy to work with.

Rob and the entire team at Lion Hardwood were great to work with from beginning to end. From the detailed walkthrough to discuss all aspects of the job, the official quote, and the actual installation, Lion Hardwood was extremely professional every step of the way. The job included removing old carpet and the original hardwood floors underneath, re-securing the old plank sub-floor to remove the squeaks, addressing areas where the floor was uneven/dipped, installing a new plywood sub-floor, and was finished off with the install of the new hardwood floors and 12 new stairs. The team was extremely punctual every day, kept the job site very clean, and finished the job exactly as scheduled in 4 days. The attention to detail and the workmanship was impressive to say the least and pricing was very reasonable considering the scope of the job. I've dealt with many contractors over the past few years, but Lion Hardwood is right there at the top of my list to recommend to friends and family.

Manos was great to work with and has excellent workmanship. I had a 10 foot section of fencing that required replacement, which included the installation of three new posts, the fencing, and a new gate. Manos showed up on time, worked efficiently, and did a really nice job. He even fixed another part of the fence that I didn't even ask him to fix. I would recommend Manos to my friends and family and would definitely hire him for future jobs.

I hired MMT Waterproofing to complete 90 linear feet of external waterproofing (depth of 4 feet) and to dig a sump pit in my basement. Robert and his team did excellent work and completed the job in 4 days. Of all the companies I talked to, MMT had the most comprehensive waterproofing process and also was the most reasonably priced. I appreciated the fact that pictures were taken throughout the process and sent to me when requested. I also appreciated the quick responses to my inquiries from both Robert and Magdalena, who works in the office. I would have no hesitation in recommending MMT waterproofing to my friends and family.

Niall did a great job of fixing my DIY project that had gone terribly wrong. I had purchased a cheap wooden table and glued a nice stone top to the table. Unfortunately, the table was not able to handle the weight of the stone countertop and was very unstable. I called Niall and he quickly came to provide a very reasonable estimate to build a custom table that could withstand the weight of the countertop. Niall did the work efficiently and professionally. Needless to say, I am quite happy with the results. The table looks great and it is extremely sturdy!

We recently bought a house that had an pre-existing alarm system in place. Based on the positive reviews on Homestars and reasonable monthly fees, we decided to go with Protection Plus. We arranged a date and time to set-up the service. They arrived on time, did a thorough job of ensuring the system was set-up properly, and took the time to explain how to use the system. Overall, we have been very impressed with the customer service to date.
