Brandon from Encore painting responded quickly to my request for a quote to paint the outside of my house, provided a fair, clear quote, and scheduled his team to come and perform the job. They estimated it would be a 2-3 week job, weather dependent. Carlos and his team (Sean and sometimes Lis) came by shortly after and started the work. Carlos is a consummate professional, and it was apparent that he not only knew what he was doing, but also cared about his work. Im fully satisfied with the job, and can highly recommend Encore painting (especially Carlos) for any job, large or small.

We needed a new furnace to replace a 25 year old furnace. Summers and Smith came out and ensured that we purchased the appropriately sized unit, and didn't just try and upsell me a larger unit than needed. Their installation crew came in and ensured the work area stayed clean, and that their installation was done neatly. We have used Summers and Smith for air conditioner installs in the past, and we trust their work, and how they stand behind it. We strongly recommend them for any heating/cooling needs to all friends and family in their work-area.

We had some slow leaks through an old cinder-block basement wall, as well as some minor leaning of said wall. Clarke's estimator came by and provided a quote for an interior drainage system, as well as a geo-anchor solution (tie back rods going into the soil outside my house). I loved that the quote was all done in software, and I could see in real-time the pricing. It made me more comfortable that these prices weren't being made up on the fly. When the installation day came, Jose (the installation foreman) noticed that due to the location of my underground propane line, and the small area available to dig outside for the geo-anchors, there may be a better solution. He talked with me and explained his concerns, and what other options that could be done to stabilize the wall. He called his boss and discussed options, and quickly had the our new agreed upon solution worked out. Jose, Trevor and Jaron worked diligently, and did a fantastic job. The work was completed within the day (they had originally quoted 2 days), and the job site was left clean, and the work was done with care. I highly recommend Clarke Basement Systems, and if you can... ASK FOR JOSE!

We have an old flagstone staircase that had started to crumble, and some of the stones had come loose. Additionally, some flagstone on our driveway had cracked and slid apart. Sam came in and provided a thorough, honest quote. We trusted him the most out of the 3 or 4 people we had talked with, and asked him to let us know when he could do the job. After a day of work, the job was done, and he wanted to make sure we were happy before he packed up and left. That night there was a major thunderstorm, and one section of stones at the edge of the driveway had the sand between them settle and wash away. I texted him the next morning to see if this was normal after a storm of that size, which he quickly responded to, and let me know he would be by to repair that. Even though our job wasn’t a large one, Sam took the time to make sure it was done right. I would recommend Sam to any friends and family if they needed landscaping work done, his professionalism, promptness, honesty and hard work are a very welcome find!!!

Knowing how big of an investment a new home is, my wife and I really wanted to ensure we knew exactly what we were potentially getting in to with our decision. To help us with our decision, we knew we needed to obtain a home inspection by somebody who not only knew what they were doing but also we could trust. After much research online, we found Solex Group. From previous reviews, it sounded like Vahn was who we were looking for. Their prices are not the lowest, but for a purchase the size of a house, I feel that bargain basement pricing will get you bargain basement quality... From the pre-booking, the booking, through to the inspection and the supplied post-inspection support, I am very impressed. Prior to the inspection, Vahn made sure I was aware of the various things he would be inspecting, and the various things he could not inspect (no destructive tests), keeping my expectations managed. During the inspection Vahn was very helpful in providing useful feedback and knowledge to me regarding the current state of the house, and what sort of issues I could expect in the future. He also indicated where things would need a specialist to assess the full condition of an issue. All in all, Vahn was exceptionally friendly, professional and thorough, and I will have no reservations to recommend his services to friends and family. Thanks Vahn for helping us make our decision with more confidence!

We were looking to add a 4 seasons sunroom to the back of our house, but wanted to keep it under a reasonable budget, and look like it was part of the original house. Not an easy task. Ivan sat us down and listened to our "dream list". He then worked out what that would cost, item by item, and then helped us modify our request to better fit our budget. Their system of quoting is brilliant, and very transparent. You are kept informed of the ACTUAL costs involved, not just a number pulled out of the air. You pay on month end based on what was actually purchased or worked on each month. We were very comfortable with their quote, very pleased with their work ethic, and beyond satisfied with Ivan's dedication to make sure we loved what was built. Their post-build support has been fantastic as well, going well beyond what I would have expected. I will mention that our project was a bit smaller than their typical work, but they had time to fit it in between other projects. I would recommend them to my friends and family any time.

Phenominal Service. They came in cheaper than the quote, and were beyond professional. I would recommend them to friends & family without reservation. On the morning of the move they called my cell and let me know there was a problem with one of their crew, and they would be about 30 minutes late. When they showed up they apologized, and got right to work. They worked tirelessly, and took great care to make sure nothing was damaged, and that everything ended up where it needed to get to (there were two destinations to the items being moved). They even helped relocate a piano from one wall of my house to another. No mix-ups... no hassles. Just great service. If I need movers again I will be sure to call Firemen Movers as my first (and only) choice.
