I am a contractor working in the Lawrence Park and Leaside Area of Toronto. I have work on million dollar homes and demand nothing but perfection from my trades. I hired JBG flooring to lay marble in the main floor hallway, master bathroom and shower and subway tile in the 2nd floor bathroom with a mosaic inlay. Dino came out and promised me that a master tile setter would be one site from the beginning to the end of the job. The first tile setter he sent out did a terrible job and the main floor hallway had to be torn up and re laid and now the tiles are cracking and breaking apart. When I asked him about the master tile setter promise he informed me that the job was too small to have one on site. The second tiler he sent out, Dino told me that he had worked for the company for years and he was one of their best. I found out that it was the first job for the tile setter working for JBG Flooring. The third set of tile setters he sent out had no idea how to lay tile. They used grey glue for white marble and the installation is a disaster. They could not lay the simplest of tile which is a subway pattern with a mosaic in lay and when I questioned Dino on the horrible job he insisted that the mosaic glass tile was a really bad choice and said that it was an impossible to lay. I would strongly advise against using JBG flooring for any work in your house. Dino did nothing but make up excuses and took no blame for the shoddy workmanship. In total, they have ruined approx. $10,000 worth of tile. I don't know how they got so many good reviews on homestars, I guess they had all their friends write the reviews. WARNING: DO NOT USE JBG FLOORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! According to the response from the company below you can see that their only response is to insult and name slander. The question you have to ask yourself is, do you really want someone working in your house that acts like a school yard bully when confronted? Stirling Construction is very much in buisness and has many satisfied clients. Please contact me for any questions you might have regarding JBG flooring. They may offer all kinds of incentives to go with them but be warned, their work is the worst I have ever seen!!!

This is a complete lie. This is actually a competitor of JBG that lost several projects. Infact if you google stirling construction you will see he is not even operational anymore. Sterling construction is but not stirling. This review is completely false this person actually we believe from knowing him has severe mental issues and we also believe has a serious drug problem and that's why he lost his business.....JBG has well over 100 review that are 10 plus and offers a 3 year warranty on all its work. we will offer any client to actually visit job site we are at to see the installer work prior to start. we also put down in writing a 100%satisfaction guarantee that if we by any means do not do a proper job we will rebuy the tiles. and we don't take not 1 dollar or a deposit till job is done and approved.
