The staff at the store were very friendly and helpful. I came in with paint chips from another Benjamin Moore store and they were able to provide additional detailed information that the other store didn't. I told them what room I was going to paint and they recommended the perfect gloss for it. Benjamin Moore paints are way more expensive then other paints from big box stores, but Benjamin Moore paints are way more user friendly and forgiving than those box store paints. I would recommend this store and Benjamin Moore paints.

My washer broke down. I took the part to Handy Appliances. They had the part in stock and the part was made of metal instead of plastic. The parts guy was very friendly and helpful. He explained what I needed to do to reinstall the part. Overall, I had an excellent experience in dealing with them and would definitely use and recommend their repair services if I were not able to do the repair job myself.

Arnold's services are reasonably priced. Unfortunately, he only sharpen blades once a week or every other week on a Saturday, so you can't get your lawnmower blade right away. It's cheaper if you remove the blade, like I did, from the lawnmower and take it to him to sharpen because he charges more if the blade is still on the lawnmower. I would definitely recommend Arnold's.

The company had the lowest quote out of the 3 roofing companies that we obtained quotes from. They were efficient, clean, and professional. They even covered my outdoor pool with a tarp, so that debris wouldn't fall in, which was unexpected but welcomed. The workers worked late until dusk and they swept up after themselves every night. The main roof over the house was completed in under 3 days, while the roof over the garage required a week because of unforeseen necessary additional repairs. I would definitely recommend them.

I was able to get an appointment within a week. The technician was quite friendly, but once he saw my older furnace (probably from 1963) he said that it's not efficient. The burner tubes were rusting and the entire furnace should be replaced. He said he couldn't clean much except for vacuuming the burner tubes in my furnace. The technician said he'll replace the fan belt because it was cracked (which it was), but when he wanted to charge me an extra $40 for the belt, I told him to put the old one back. I later bought a belt at Canadian Tire for less than $10 and replaced it myself. Furthermore, I later hired another company to vacuum my air ducts and he took a look at my furnace for free and said that the furnace is older, but it's in good condition and it'll still heat your home warmer than some of the newer high efficiency furnaces out there. Also, he said that the burner tubes were cast iron, and so it's normal for it to rust based on the furnace's age. he said, "even though the burners were rusting, it'll still last for a very long time, so don't be too concerned about it." In the end, I would not use Best Heating again nor recommend them.

I met the sales person at the Vancouver Home Show. He was quite pleasant and knowledgeable about the product, The company provided free estimates. The quote was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive; however they offered a variety of window options, unlike other window companies in Vancouver that stick to one line of windows. The 2 guys that installed my windows were very friendly and professional. The company gave them 2 days to install our windows, and so they took their time to properly install them without being rushed. The installation included wooden casings around the windows in order to hide the window seams (the area where the window frame rests against the drywall), which made me quite happy because other cheaper window companies didn't provide that service even if I was willing to pay extra for it. In the end, I am quite satisfied with my window replacement.
