Josh and helper cleaned the windows and did a good job, but missed 2 windows. The eaves were another matter. A blower was used and blew all debris on the porch, furniture, BBQ, and yard. The down spouts where not flushed out. I texted him about this and he assured me that he carries buckets of water in his truck to perform this task. There was no dampness at the exit of the downspouts. The following day there was a heavy rain that washed debris down the downspouts. Obviously they had not been flushed out. Disappointing.

I'm very sorry for your experience. I assure you the gutters were blown through and my employee ensured me he had cleaned the debris but we will gladly come out this week to do it again for you. As for the two windows I am not sure where they are located but let us know and we will be sure to get them. Thank you

Dave has performed 3 jobs for me in the past. Two under the sink leaks and a tap installation. He is knowledgeable, courteous, reasonably priced and always on time. I highly recommend this company.

This company serviced my property last year. Most times I had to phone them to remind them, a number of times, that I was a customer and please come and service the lawn. One of their technicians overseeded the lawn with grass seed and included all of the flower beds. Needless to say, there was a lovely crop of grass that sprouted from the beds. Decided not to use them in 2016. I received 2 solicitations through the mail. Immediately filed them in the recycling box because I had hired a new company to service the property. The new company came in March and spread fertilizer, etc. Came home one day in March and Hometurf had serviced my property in my absence. Phoned immediately and cancelled. Received a bill for $334.9. Phoned again. It would be taken care of. Received another bill in August for $45.45 for the March fertilizer. Phoned again. Explained that I had not contracted Hometurf to service my property. She explained to me that they had sent me mail solicitations during the winter and if I did not respond, they automatically continue the service. I told her that was considered to be negative billing and it was illegal. No says she. The company would not do anything illegal. I told her I would not be paying the bill. Complained to BBB. Hometurf's response was to excuse the $45.45, however, their point is that I was solicited twice during the winter and it states clearly on each and every bill "As part of your continuous lawn care program, we'll return to apply this program on a yearly basis until you cancel. A phone call or short written notice is all that is required to cancel the program". Beware.

The house that I purchased has a number of cracks in the foundation of the cold room. The wall weeps when it rains or when a thaw occurs. As a result white mould was growing. I opted to have the room "encapsulated" with a Clarke system. The salesman Ben was very knowledgeable and patiently educated me on foundations, passive drainage, etc. Codey was the installer. He and his 2 fellow workers had no problem explaining exactly what they were doing and how the system works. They worked hard and were polite and pleasant. They left the site relatively tidy. When Codey gave me the bill he apologized profusely having accidently broken the light in the cold room during installation. Gave me his cell phone number & said he wanted to pay for it. He asked me to text him a picture of the broken light, which I did. It turned out that he could not install a new light and any decision seemed to be dragging on. In the meantime Stephanie from customer service phoned. I told her of the dilemma. Next a man phoned to say not to worry, everything would be taken care of. When hearing nothing by October 6 I phoned my handy salesman Ben for an update. At 10:45 a.m. he said he would phone directly and get back to me right away. It is now October 8th 4:32 p.m. Still waiting. Phoned Clarke and got Stephanie. What a pleasant lady. She said they were trying to locate an identical light from the picture that I had sent Codey. Today Cam installed the light. Another pleasant person. It's unfortunate that Ben the salesman did not follow up on the problem. It is also unfortunate that no one from the company informed me that they were working on the problem instead of leaving me out of the information loop for 5 days. The quality of the product itself is of paramount importance, but customer service is not far behind. It is incredibly frustrating to be ignored when there is a problem. As far as the product itself is concerned, that is something the future will tell.

The job was to replace the vinyl siding on the front of a single garage. Install eavestroughs and trim around one house doorway. They arrived around 7:30 a.m. Got right to work. They did a wonderful job. The garage looks brand new. They were very professional, knew their job & got it done.

Just completed a major renovation of the main floor bathroom, gutted to the studs and incorporated a bedroom closet to expand the size. Roy & his brother Mike of Norcon Construction limited were recommended by a friend. Roy and I met in January, he gave me the estimate which included all labour for himself and his brother and a starting date. After delay after delay, the job began on April 28th. Roy promised the job would take 3 weeks as he was going for knee surgery in 4 weeks…definitely would have the job done well before then. When the bead board walls were removed it was discovered that the old tile walls were still there. Mike was not available & apparently none of his other helpers, therefore he had to do the job himself. As a result, the job took more hours, was not completed within the allotted time frame and he felt that I should pay for his extra hours even though a second person’s labour was covered in the original estimate. Roy usually arrived around 10 a.m. and left 3 – 4 p.m., took numerous days off and the bathroom was only partially finished when he went for knee surgery. After 8 weeks the job was completed. Was charged an extra $800 for labour and $150 for disposal fee plus HST. He did a couple of small jobs for me “for free” that took approximately 1/2 hour, which I was grateful for, but was reminded of often. Bad mistake on my part. He installed the wrong coloured sink. When that was pointed out to him, he angrily said that I would have to pay for labour to remove it, cost of new sink and labour to install it for his error. Roy claimed he had shopped all over Toronto for that specific sink, which was just a plain oval. Phoned a friend who had the exact same sink in the colour that I had requested. She got hers at Canadian Tire. Upon completion of the bathroom, after taking a shower, I noticed the water pooling in the far corner of the shower and along one wall. I squeegeed it into the drain. It remained for 4 days, even with the door open and fan on. Pointed it out to Roy who said that it was just fine…not to worry. Did some research and was told by a tile specialist that over time the water would penetrate the grout and remain under the tile. The water would eventually stagnate and the shower floor would have to be replaced. Told Roy. After a lot of complaining he reluctantly replaced those 2 portions of the shower floor, blaming his tile subcontractor incessantly. This was not a pleasant experience.

Richard and his co-worker were punctual, efficient, and fast. Both fellows were personable & pleasant. Not only that he gave a great price. Richard did not have the moulding that I wanted in his stock & he went out of his way to find it. His concern is for his client. I would recommend this Company to my best friend without hesitation.
