My kitchen drain was clogged. I couldn't clear it with liquid drain cleaner, or a cheap manual snake. I found Cirton Plumbing & Drain Ltd, and read the reviews, all of which were very positive. I requested a quote via the HomeStars online quote request. Mike called me literally within 3 minutes of my hitting the submit button. We set up a time for him to come to my house for "1st thing tomorrow morning". He called at 7:50 am and was here by 8:00 am. The job was finished by 9:10 am. The blockage was worse than expected and he had to attempt to clear it twice. He had loosened the clog using about 25 feet of snake down the drain. After checking the main stack and tapping on the pipes, we could hear the clog let go and the water started draining properly. Since this was a home visit during the COVID-19 quarantine period, Mike arrived with an N95 face mask, gloves and also wore booties to protect the carpets. He laid out a tarp on the kitchen floor and cleaned up after he was finished with sanitizer. All in all, a perfect experience, oh and the cost was 1/2 of what others would have charged.

My front lawn was a mess for years. Last year we laid new sod and I don’t want it to die again, and since my gardening skills are truly lacking, we contacted Lawn Savers. I sent the notification via their web site on a Saturday afternoon and got a response that evening, even though it was after hours. We got a phone call on Monday and they explained all the options and prices. Once a decision was made, they provided a quote that was more than reasonable for two different options. Once we decided which option to choose, I contacted them again and found out my contact was I’ll, but his backup handled setting up the service and answered all my questions. Sorry I can’t comment on the actual service since the spring has not arrived. If the application services are as good as the service already received, I will change my rating, but for now, 4 stars for satisfaction and 3 for possibility of recommendation.

Thank you Scott for commenting on your initial positive experience partnering up with us. Once you begin receiving service, it is important to note that results do take time and are very dependent on the weather and you doing your part to ensure success. Often it can take more than one season (with incremental steps along the way).
We will be working with you every step of the way to rejuvenate, grow and maintain a green, thick and healthy lawn for you and your family to enjoy.
Thank you for choosing and trusting LawnSavers. We are here for you every step of the way. Kyle!

The 2013/2014 winter was very tough. Because of the ice storm and the amount of snow, coupled with a leaky roof and very poor insulation, we had some water damage to the inside of the house during the first thaw. OK, so it's time to "bite the bullet" and get it done right. After getting the roof fixed (by another very reputable company), we called Insta-Insulation to get the attic insulation fixed. You must realize that all our furnace ducting is in the attic. You also have to realize that it was installed very poorly (by some other contractor who did lousy work). I called Insta-Insulation because the house was built in 1974, and did not have any vapour barrier in the attic. I figured that the foam insulation would be the way to go, since it provides a 100% vapour barrier, as well as the insulation. We watch HGTV alot and Insta-Insulation is held in high regard by Mike Holmes. That is the main reason why I called Insta-Insulation. I talked with Brandon, who came to the house, inspected the attic and provided a quote. The timing of the installation was coordinated with the roofing company, and the schedule was worked out. The whole process took five visits: one to remove the existing insulation (some of which was wet because of the afore-mentioned leak); one to fix the furnace ducting; two to spray foam the deck (it's a 1500 square foot attic with two separate accesses); one to blow in the rest of the insulation to bring it up to R55. It turned out that the furnace ducting was so bad, they had to call in their "handyman" to fix it. He corrected all the leaky joints, anchored the boots to the ceiling (which wasn't done by the original contractor), insulated all the ducting where the original insulation was missing, and cut an access hatch from the main attic to the attic of the addition (which should have been done by the original contractor, but wasn't). The second day of foaming was a short day, and because they put exhaust fans in the attic, it was cured very quickly. Everyone at every stage of the installation called to say when they would be there. They always arrived when they said they would. I talked with everyone working on each step of the job, and all were very knowlegable and experienced. I never had any questions they couldn't answer. Besides Brandon, Cindy, Andrew and Crystal were all fantastic to work with. All-in-all, a very easy company to do business with. They honoured their quote, even with all the extra work performed by their "handyman". As a matter of fact, I have another, relatively small, job to do, and wouldn't hesitate to call them when I am ready to start.
