This is our second renovation with the Home Improvement People. They did our basement 5 years ago and we were impressed and so we decided to go with them again for the revonation of our second floor. This included removing the existing popcorn ceiling/insulation and a total gut of our ensuite and main bathrooms. Larry was the project leader this time. He was easy to talk to and very prompt in his communication. His sub trades were professional and also easy to get along with. For the most part the reno was completed on time. There were a lot of factors (COVID/supplies issues) beyond anyones control that delayed it just a bit. There were other unexecpted problems that were discovered during the demolition (rotting exterior wall). Larry was able to line people up to fix it as soon as possible.. Many thanks to Gabe (tiling), Steve (electrician), Andrew and Jack (demo), Tommy (plumber), Slavik (dywall), Mike (exterior walls and siding) and last but not least Steve and Mike (painters/finishers).

He is very knowledgeable in many areas and came up with some unique ideas on how to maximize the space in our basement. Chris is a carpenter by trade and took the time to create some custom doors and other details to give our basement a one-of-a-kind look. I contacted Falco Landscaping after reading the reviews on Homestars. It was apparent from the reviews that the owner Paul was honest and easy to work with. I contacted Paul and he promptly came to give me a quote to renovate the back yard, sides and front. Paul provided me with a competitive quote based on the budget I gave him. I was so impressed by the first meeting that I went with Falco Landscaping without contacting anyone else. It was a gamble that paid off. Paul and his crew arrived promptly for work. His crew worked hard during the extremely hot month of July. Overall, I had a very good experience dealing with Paul and his crew. I would like to thank Dan, Rob, Carson and Will for working hard through the hot summer months to create my backyard oasis. I would highly recommend Falco Landscaping for your landscaping needs.

I wanted to install coping stone around the deck but was advised by numerous contractors that the existing concrete had to be destroyed and new concrete had to be poured in to accommodate the coping stone. This was expensive and well out of my backyard renovation budget. I did some research, came across Liftec and few other companies. Terry initially came out to have a look at the deck and give me a quote. He was professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the type of material used to lift the deck. After comparing his quote to a few others, I decided to go with Liftec. Liftec accommodated my renovation schedule and levelled all the slabs around the deck. They cleaned up after they left and the crew were very friendly. Liftec was priced slightly higher than other companies, however the experience from the first phone call to completion was worth the extra money.

Just had an air conditioner installed and the old one removed. Craig quote a price and when I was ready to proceed sent me an invoice. The price in the invoice is the price I paid. There are no hidden costs. Craig promptly replied to all my questions and told me exactly what I needed. Nick and Andre did the actual install for the air conditioner. Nick took the time to explain to me what exactly he was doing and helped me understand how the air conditioner works and the parts involved. There were a few issues during the install and required additional time to fix. Nick took care of it and did a quality job. These guys double check all their work and are very thorough. They made sure there were no leaks in the system and that the system was up and running before they left. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.
