Sam did a fantastic job installing Formica ColorCore2 kitchen countertop. It looks like a solid surface for much, much less than stone would cost and so far it seems like it will be bulletproof! If you don't know about this product, google it or ask him. He was able to install my counter within a week of my quote. He also builds the counter from scratch on site, which I think results in a superior install. Sam was 100% on time and professional. Highly recommended.

Scott did all the electrical for my DIY kitchen renovation of my 1959 bungalow, that extended into some bathroom and living room electrical work while I was at it. Being an older house and with a finished basement, of the several quotes I received, Scott had the best solutions for tackling how to run the wiring. It included some crawling around in the attic, which I really appreciated. He was very patient and accommodating, as this became a drawn out DIY project. His work is top notch and prices are very reasonable. I 100% recommend Scott.

I ordered a sliding door in September, provided a down-payment, and the order was marked as rush so I would get it before the winter. I was told to expect arrival in 2 weeks and they would call. One month later I received a call asking why it was marked rush, and was told it would be 8 weeks from then. Well, it is now winter and I am very disappointed....I cancelled the order and I went with another company. I do not have a satisfactory explanation as to the delay and lack of communication to me, but they did give me my money back without a problem, so I am giving them 2 stars for that.

I had my roof reshingled by Guns N Hoses 5 years ago and they did a great job, so I looked to them for topping up my 1959 insulation to code. Neil made a thorough pre-quote inspection, took time to answer all of my questions, ensured my attic would have adequate air flow, as well as air-sealed the ceiling. He also replaced my hatch at my request for no extra charge. He would not accept payment until I visually inspected the work, which required an extra visit. I am confident the work was well done.

Stefan has been doing various work for me for the last year and a half, incuding some framing, trim work, building a deck, door installation, and the final installation and customization of my DIY Ikea kitchen. Stefan is skilled, resourceful, on time, diligent, and honest, as well as patient with my project planning. He has delivered great results that fit within my budget and I look forward to have him complete additional projects for me.

Nate is to the point and makes it clear he does the job right. His installation of vents in my attic made sure there would be no condensation issues, unlike other quotes I had that were cheaper because they cut corners. Jordan, who did the work, was on time, courteous, professional. My attic was reinsulated afterwards and they commented the work was very good. I more recently had Distinct tune-up my furnace. Jordan also did that work and my >10 year old h/e furnace has never run so well! Jason explained everything he did, including turing down the pressure which was too high. My ducting has always banged when the furnace fan turned off and does not any more! Another quote I had said I should bolt a pipe through the ducting to keep it from moving, clearly not addressing the issue. My furnce runs less and my house is less drafty, so money well spent. I will always use Dinstinct from now on.
