Bought a new (used) home in Keswick. Inspector advised we'd need a new roof in the spring. Called Tom at Mega City Roofing as he has done previous work for me on a house in Toronto as well as my next door neighbour. Always a great and professional experience. The work was top notch and I'd recommend Mega City Roofing without hesitation.

Washer stopped working, drum and agitator would not move. Suspected it was the coupler. Called Chris, he squeezed me in and was here within 2 hours. Diagnosed the issue, made the repair, out in under an hour. Professional, trustworthy, friendly, and knowledgeable. Doesn't get any better than this. Recommend without hesitation. I called several companies for an estimate as numerous shingles came off my roof after a serious wind storm. Tom from Mega City got back to me the same day, came by my house and assessed the situation. It was time for my roof to be replaced as the shingles had all worn down to the paper. Tom assessed the entire roof...from the roof. This is important as another roofer who arrived for an assessment never left the sidewalk. In 2 minutes he quoted me $3600 for all the repairs without even going on the roof to assess what was required! Another well known roofer couldn't come to assess the roof for 4 days. BAsed on all this, I went with Tom from Mega City. He was polite, thorough, and helped me understand my many options. He then presented a solution that met my needs and kept the price under control. His team arrived as scheduled, put out tarps and boarded windows (they even put a tarp on the car next door). I left them to do their work at 8:30am and returned at 2pm to find a beautiful new roof. They cleaned everything up and used a magnet to sweep for any stray nails. They even did a little bit of free work on my neighbor's roof while they were up there. In the end, Tom's team not only did a fantastic job, but they even came in $250 under the estimate. Workmanship is guaranteed for 10 years. I took a bunch of Tom's business cards as a number of the other houses in my area need some work and I intend on making sure they know who to go to for a job well done! Thanks Tom!

What I thought was a leaking elbow joint on the kitchen sink drainage pipe in the basement turned out to be a completely broken vent pipe well above the suspect elbow joint. Michael showed me the problem and I immediately started contemplating the bill (cut open wall to access vent pipe, cut pipe, replace pipe, yada yada yada). Michael was great. He gave me the worse case scenario and pricing, but told me if all went well, he could probably get it done for less. Well, it turned out to be a big job and Michael did his best to keep it simple to keep the costs down. During the process, we had some good chats, told some good stories, and found out we had some things in common. In the end, the repair was not cheap, but neither was the workmanship. Michael did a fantastic job and the kitchen stack looks like it will last another 50 years! You get what you pay for. I paid for a professional job and that is what I got. Hopefully I don't need plumber anytime soon but if I do, Michael is the man I will call.
