Five Star Painting recently painted our kitchen, entranceway and coat closet. It wasn't a big job, but quite finicky. Sohail quoted us a competitive price, and his crew showed up on schedule. Ali and Skip did a fabulous job - they were polite, worked hard and paid great attention to detail. They are true professionals who obviously take pride in their work. I would not hesitate to use them again.

A Granito World just installed a new countertop, backsplash, sink and faucet in our kitchen. If you need a new countertop, it would be difficult to find a better company to deal with. Vikas (the manager) answered all our questions honestly and directly, and also added further insights on his own to help us make an informed decision. There was no sales pressure of any kind – just a straightforward discussion of the pros and cons of various materials and designs. Once we decided on what we wanted, we were able to select the actual slab of granite from which our countertop would be cut. At the same time, we picked out the new backsplash, faucet and sink. This one-stop shopping was a real advantage, but it didn’t stop there – the bonus was that Vikas provides a plumber to do the plumbing installation in conjunction with the other work. This is a real benefit in terms of scheduling, and no other company we spoke to offered similar plumbing service. Vikas himself did the measuring in our kitchen, and the end result was an L-shaped countertop cut in one piece (no seam) that fit absolutely perfectly. The whole process, from initial discussions to actual installation, took less than ten days. The installation itself was done in one day, which meant minimal disruption in our home. The installation crew was efficient and hard-working, and paid a great deal of attention to detail. From beginning to end, everybody involved in this project made it a positive experience – they were all true craftsmen, knowledgeable in their professions, and a pleasure to deal with. And the crowning touch is that the price was very competitive. This company is highly recommended!!

Lee Sheds is based in Alliston, Ontario but services the greater Toronto area. In 2009, after thoroughly researching various suppliers, I chose Lee Sheds to build a fairly large wooden storage shed for me. They were competitively priced, and did a great job building exactly what I wanted. Six years later, one corner of the shed settled slightly - not much, but enough to affect the alignment of the double doors. The owner and one of his employees came and diagnosed the problem, re-levelled the structure, realigned the doors, corrected a "bowing" of one of the doors, and provided and installed an updated locking system - all at no charge. This kind of customer service is extremely rare, especially when you consider that more than six years had passed and ground settling can hardly be their fault. I would recommend this firm to anybody who is looking for a quality product backed by a company that cares about its clients.

This company is terrific to deal with. We needed a new furnace and water heater; Marnie showed up as scheduled, did a thorough evaluation of our needs and very clearly laid out our options - without any hint of a hard sales job. The price she quoted was by far (and I mean BY FAR) the best we received, and we agreed on an early installation date. On that date, Adam and his assistant (Andrej??) came on time and immediately got to work. They were polite, efficient and hard-working. Despite their best efforts, they were not able to complete the job on the same day - rain and cold weather prevented them from finishing the necessary work on the outside of the house (concrete sealing around the vent pipes). However, they made sure we had heat and hot water before packing up. They returned three days later as promised, and finished the job. Before leaving - on both occasions - they cleaned up and left the work site (and access to it) spotless. Despite having to work in cramped conditions, and having to make two trips to complete the job, there was no attempt to justify any upward price adjustment - we paid exactly what was agreed to at the outset. It is indeed rare to find a company such as this one, that combines high quality, great service and economical prices. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody.
