Have 4 large pine trees that needed trimming (from 1" to 8" diameter branches) as well as a maple tree that needed a major trunk to be removed. Arborist was out within two days of submitting my request for quote. Received quote a few days later including verification of Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation coverage. One of the pine trees was city property and the application process took a little longer than expected including a visit to my home by city inspector. Crew (2, one senior, one junior) showed up at 8:30am and was gone by 12:30pm. The senior guy (who was doing all the trimming and tree climbing) continually asked if everything was ok and if I wanted any more to be done as he worked through all four trees. Clean up was fantastic (removal of branches, raking of pine needles and blowing off my driveway of all remaining debris) and left my property just as it was prior to work . Very professional and courteous and did an excellent job.

This is my 3rd consecutive year using Frechette Lawn Care after using the typical franchised providers for years, which I was not happy with. Frechette is responsive to my questions, show up reliably, provide quality treatments and don't rush through each appointment. This is the difference with a family owned business; they actually give crap about their customers and quality of service.

Left message after hours Sunday evening, called returned Monday morning, repairman onsite Tuesday, job well done. Responsive, good customer service. Would certainly use again and recommend to others. Positive customer experience all around.

Consistent with many of the reviews, I hired The Gardner (North York) at $120/mo. for grass cutting only for the 2013 season and did not renew. Hires students not knowing what they were doing other than pushing a mower and using a weed whacker (which zapped a shrub that I had to replace), no call backs from the franchisee and at best, average results. Dropped the mower several times especially around edging, not bothering to pick up pine cones rather just running over them (glad I don't own the equipment). Did the bare minimum.
