We have nothing but good things to say about Ring Electric. Bryan runs an excellent business and truly cares about his clients and the work provided. We ended up rewiring our house and installing recessed LED lights in several rooms. Bryan took the time to explain the scope of work and answer all of our questions. The process was done rapidly and properly. All of the members of the Ring team are professional, courteous and nice to work with. Expect workers to show up on time and Bryan to check daily on the work and make sure everything is OK with the homeowner. We did obtain other quotes and Ring’s pricing was very fair, especially when you consider the quality of the service provided. Bryan also offers an excellent guarantee for his work and has not hesitated to come back to fix minor deficiencies. We highly recommend Ring Electric. This one of the best contractors we have had the opportunity to work with. You really can’t go wrong. NOTE: I asked Homestars to remove my review of Ring Electric from Feb 8th 2014 so that an edit could be made in this company's response to my review. I am re-posting the review which pertains to work completed in January 2014. One and a half years from when the work has been completed, we still feel this is one of the best companies we have dealt with.

Oliver Painting was hired to paint the interior of our house. We chose Clayton’s company based on his assurance of a quality workmanship, a fair price and favorable reviews. The team of painters that completed the work consisted of Clayton himself, who came to help with painting for a few hours in the morning, and another employee. The work was completed very rapidly but we found that the attention to detail was lacking. It proved very difficult to have them come back to fix imperfections and the work was never completed to our satisfaction. We would not recommend Oliver Painting.

Robert provided a timely and fair estimate and was prompt at responding to emails. We had to wait several weeks for the installation to be completed, but this was expected, as it was explained to us during the estimate. We are very pleased with the quality of the workmanship, materials and overall outcome. One of the pieces did not match our fascia and Robert made sure this was replaced promptly. We would not hesitate to recommend Maize for installation of eavestrough.

O’Reilley Brothers was hired to remove asbestos around some old duct work. A team of two employees removed the asbestos which was mostly located in our basement and around baseboard registers. We had concerns related to the the level of personal protection the employees were wearing but were reassured by the company. A few months after the work was completed, we happened to discover more asbestos around some registers. O'Reilly Brothers provided honest advice over the phone and came back to remove the material to ensure the job was complete. We would recommend this company based on their honesty in a market where homeowners can often be taken advantage of.

Roger with Ottawa Duct Cleaning is very pleasant to deal with, is honest and cares about his business. Although his price was above some of the other quotes received by competitors, the estimate was all inclusive with no surprises. It was well worth it, as a team of three employees took their time to ensure the job was well done. One of the employees was very knowledgeable and took pictures of the before and after. We appreciated that these pictures were made available to us by email to keep for our records. The crew was very mindful of our belongings, did an excellent job at cleaning our ducts, leaving them in good condition and sealing holes that had been improperly closed from previous duct cleaners. We would highly recommend this company and will use their services in the future if needed.

We hired Orkin Pest Control for an assessment of our house due to a persistent mouse problem in our attic. After sealing several holes and cracks, we could not locate the point of entry for the critters. The Orkin representative was very resourceful, examined nearly all areas of the house, provided useful feedback and suggestions and did not make us feel as though he was pressed for time. Although the source of the problem was not identified during his visit, the house assessment was very informative and worth the cost as it raised awareness and provided suggestions on how to minimize potential critter or bug issues.
