After reading the great reviews on Homestars. My wife and I hired Artiste when our basement flooded. I am pleased to say that all the reviews were true and I echo the previous reviewer's comments. Barry's professionalism and most particularly his punctuality with responses to emails, calls and site visits were excellent. The highly skilled and courteous trades-people he has working for him were also a pleasure to deal with. Hans is absolutely one of the best carpenter's I've met! Our design included a wood entertainment unit to be built in our basement to match the quality and look of the unit we have upstairs. Hans built a unit from scratch and it is absolutely stunning, you could never tell it was built after the fact. I cannot tell you how pleased we are with this company. There were no hidden costs, trades-people showed up everyday on time (they were also very mindful of our dog and 2 cats) and we were always kept in the loop with who was going to be at our house on any given day. We will definitely call Barry and his crew again in the future!

If you need your place painted this is the guy to call! I called Mike to get a quote to paint my condo. Upon meeting him he's a upfront and honest guy, his 32 years of experience speaks for itself. I was on a tight timeline to get the condo painted and Mike made sure it was done it a timely fashion without sacrificing quality work. The thing I like the most (aside from how hard he worked) is Mike is the owner AND HE DOES THE WORK! I also asked for some advice to paint a door and he told me exactly how to do it and gave me one of his spare paintbrushes! I will definitely be calling Mike for my future projects!

I purchased 4 Blue Spruce tree's that were approximately 12 feet tall. Bernie (owner/operator) came out with his custom spade truck and dug the hole's out, took the dirt away and planted the tree's. Bernie has contacts with various tree farms and can get you excellent tree's for a fair price. I am very pleased with his service and will be getting him to come back this spring to plant 8 more tree's for me.

I had Bryce from Butler plumbing come out to do an annual inspection of our demand hot water system and install a natural gas BBQ line. Great service, knowledgeable and personable. I was extremely impressed with the clean installation of the BBQ gas line. Will definitely call them for any of my plumbing needs. After he did the work, he asked if there was anything else he could check for me. I can't say I've ever heard that from any service. Call Butler, you won't be disappointed.

I had some garage door issues that needed some maintenance, and although PJL door services did not install the garage Pierre was more than willing to come out and service the garage. I can't say enough about Pierre, he was at the house on time (he was early in fact), friendly, courteous and extremely knowledgeable (30 yrs+ of garage door experience). He even took the time to answer all the questions I had and even took the time to teach me a few basic maintenance items as well as a show me a few unknown features I didn't realize my garage had. Through-out the entire appointment Pierre explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. I highly recommend PJL door services.

After visiting multiple fireplace retailers within Edmonton, I must say Alberta Wholesale is in my experience the best company in the city. Please don't take my 10/10 rating I gave them lightly, they are well deserving of it. Everything from product knowledge to installation was impressive. I purchased a gas fireplace insert for my Mother a few short weeks before Christmas. The sales consultant, Jodi was a straight shooter, he sold me an appropriate fireplace and was able to squeeze in the fireplace install right before Christmas so my Mother could enjoy her new fireplace over the holidays. The one thing that makes them stand out from all the other retailers I visited is that they did a complete install including drywall. As for the install, the crew (Roger and Dean) were clean workers and they didn't stop until the job was done. They didn't even take one coffee break! They took their time installing a new gas line, and even Steve (the owner) stopped by to see how the install was going and give some advice on where to run the gas line without touching any drywall. Needless to say, my Mom was extremely happy with the fireplace. I will definitely go back to Alberta Wholesale for any future fireplace purchases. Recently (today), I stopped in there because I had an issue with a fireplace my home builder had installed when we built our house. Jodi didn't even hesitate to send one of his guys out to my house to check it out. I think that is unbelievable service considering they didn't sell or install the fireplace that's in my house. This company definitely deserves the 10/10 rating. If you decide to use these guys you won't be disappointed!
