We bought Torly's 5-1 system for our stairs because we wanted it to match the wood that we're installing. We were referred to Max to take the job of installing the stairs as well as replacing the railing on the 2nd floor that was 27" high. Max has great attention to detail and will not rush through your project just to get to the next. He stuck to his timelines and delivered a great product. New Railing with new pickets, new nosing which was stained to match the new wood we installed. Max was able to compensate for the slope in our old house making the railing perfectly level. Not only were we happy with the work but Max is also very personable which is very when dealing with contractors and trades. I highly recommend Max to complete you're next project.

Rick gave me an itemized quote breaking down the scope of work and timelines. His team was very professional, blocked off my main floor to limit dust. Rick even helped me move one of the floor registers to a better location. We have to replace the wood on the main floor of our house, so we'll be calling back Rick and his team to do the work. The one thing I can say with Rick is that he has integrity. You always run into hidden surprises in these old East York Semi's and Rick pushed through the surprises without charging extra.

Best decision I've ever made... Period! I was thinking about doing this myself and after watching the precision and attention to detail this new deck is now an extension of our home. I only wish the inside could look as good as what they did outside.

This review is 2 yrs late but I think this is the best time to see with their work has stood the test of time. My fence is still strong as ever, even with the heavier deck boards I used for the install. I had 14 post dug and set by this team. I would recommend them and it saved me thousands by giving me the opportunity to install the boards myself.

Update: Alex called me after seeing this review, which was good on his part so I've changed my rating. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Great start, poor execution. Met with Alex twice to discuss the replacement of all of our windows, he was very knowledgable, light hearted, and answered all of our questions. This is why we went with this company. We were told that they had their own installers but it was clear that they did installations for several different companies as I noticed the main guy took a call from one of the competitors. Before the crew started, I tipped them all $20 just to set the tone, which was suggested by one of my contractor friends. All of my windows were filthy, vinyl scratched on one, dust/dirt/nails left behind by the installers. No instructions on how to remove the screen from the windows, etc... They were in a hurry to leave. I've emailed Alex twice about my disappointment with the installation with no response. Not that I expected someone to come back and clean my windows, clean the dirt around my freshly painted trim, the debris sitting on my roof and around the outside of my windows... Common courtesy would be to acknowledge your mistakes and coach the installers or get new ones. Clearly they don't care about repeat business or referrals. During the consultation I told Alex that we will want to do patio doors in the very near future but I will not be dealing with "Canadian Choice" Windows.

Jean was awesome from the get go, she made me feel like as if I was an old time friend. This is a lost art of customer service, so I appreciated the effort. This is the second time we're fixing the same issue, so I'm glad that Roof Whisperer was able to fix the other contractors work backed by a warranty. The team was punctual, did what they said they were going to do, and after several heavy rainfalls... NO ISSUES!!! I'll look to have them replace our roof when the time comes, but they have definitely bought us some time before we have to do that.

We spotted a water stain on our ceiling and called Jason, who made time in his busy day to do an assessment. Jason was accurate with his guess of the age of the roof and pointed out things that we should be aware of as new homeowners. He didn't rush me through my questions, took his time giving me thoughtful answers and fix our issue on the spot. Very pleased, and will be calling him again for future servicing and eventual replacement.
