We purchased a new door entry system from Dundas Doors based on your rating and looking for more personal service from a smaller company. We were extremely disappointed in the installation. Only 1 installer showed up and we feel he had difficulty adjusting the door system so the threshold is now very high and the door frame sticks out from the inner wall. We told them of our concerns, sent a follow-up e-mail and they would not even come to inspect the job. Do not pay 100% of the job before it is finished to your satisfaction, because their follow up service is non-existent.

We purchased Jatoba hardwood flooring for our dining and living room areas. The dining room is sunken so that there is a railing and several steps between the rooms. The Floor Shop indicated that due to the complexity of the stairs and railing, that this would be completed by a sub-contractor who specializes in that type of work. When the railing rods where re-inserted in the new floor, the railing was noticeably uneven and not straight. After contacting the Floor Shop, the sub-contractor came back within 2 days and completely corrected the problem. We believe that the Floor Shop was wonderful at correcting the problem and dealing with the sub-contractor involved.
