This firm came out in response to a concern I had with my gas fireplace as the pilot light didn’t stay lit. They started to explain How to trouble shoot it but then offered to come to my home to show me They arrived on time and not only inspected the pilot light but took apart various parts of the fireplace and cleaned parts including the glass front. My system now works perfectly.

This is an update of my former review. Robin came out to see the problems I was having with my fireplace and completely resolved my issues and has shown me what was the problem. I had used a gas company for a maintenance plan and their tech made a mess of cleaning and resetting my fireplace and even reset the 'wood' in the wrong way. thanks Robin! i will ask you to help maintain my fireplace every year.

Robin and his son came and installed the gas insert to a red brick fireplace. He allowed me to pay him in two installments for which I was grateful. The fireplace is working fine. Great. However when completed, there was an ugly gap above the fireplace insert. He said that since I mentioned I may reface the fireplace that didn't matter. But I didn't want to reface it for now so he made a black metal frame to cover the gap. However it is freestanding and it rattles all the time. I have to kick the fireplace to stop the rattle. I guess I have no choice but reface the fireplace soon or continue to kick the fireplace

I changed from another alarm company over a year ago. Safetech assessed my home then suggested some minor changes for my home to ensure that there is a pet friendly motion detector upstairs and updated the smoke alarm. They told me that I do not need to change to a more expensive wireless system unless I wanted to, as my current wired system is completely adequate and will work well even at a power outage. The switch over was very easy and very low cost. I find that arming and disarming of my system is also very very easy. Two buttons: I ask myself: do I stay or am I going away. So press either ‘stay’ or ‘away’. I also get a notice on my iPhone when my system is armed, so when I was out of town, I knew when my daughter entered (or forgot to enter) my home to check on my cat. I did not tell her that I could do this long distance. So I sent her a text, “by the way, did you have a chance to feed my cat yet?” “ Why yes, she said” and I got a notice when she disarmed and then armed my system, later than she claimed she has done it. So this is my little secret. When I called for tech support such as changing the time on my display, the staff were courteous and clear. When I had a (false) alarm event, they were on the phone checking on me right away. So I feel safe with Safetech! And the best part? My monthly premiums are significantly lower than before. It is not the initial installation costs that one should look at but the long-term costs.

I have had an alarm monitoring system for over 20 years by a large international firm. But I wanted to update the old hardwired system. The old company was going to update my system a bit for around 200$ and then charge about 45$ a month. A SafeTech technician reviewed and tested my system and told me that my hard wired system was functional but the system needed updating and a new pad, which would have cost me nothing. However, the technician recommended a new smoke detector which was over 20 years old, and extra motion detector for my second floor. I was grateful for this, as I always wanted this. The wiring was a major challenge and they were here for hours installing it. They also assured me that my cat will not trigger the system, and the techie was patiently testing my system while we were trying to lure the cat to jump and move. Yup. It worked fine and the cat did not trigger the system! I was so impressed that I decided to go for a wireless notification system via my smartphone, and I got a great price for this installation of this also. The three major changes and additions were well under 300$ one time cost. The best part: my monthly system is under 25$. My SafeTech rep always answers my emails immediately and I feel that I am in good hands.
