We called +1 (647) 372-2281 when our water heater stopped heating, and their technician tricked us into replacing our water heater; it turned out that the only thing that needed to be replaced was its thermostat. We were told by the t that the heater is beyond repair. Since we paid a deposit of $1200, they now want $550 as their restoking fee for a new unit (we cancelled the purchase right away so it has never crossed our threshold). They do not return our calls and so far I was unable to speak to their manager.

My furnace (one of high-efficiency Goodman models) first shut off in mid-October. The company that initially installed it tried to fix it but quickly gave up and ?hose not to answer my calls. I found Dave from Reliable Home Comfort (through Goodman who recommended him as one of the more experienced contractors of theirs). Unfortunately, the problem with my furnace turned to be most complicated and unusual as people from Goodman had to acknowledge (the furnace's electronic board went "crazy" in a very unpredictable way). Nonetheless, all along the way Dave was very determined and confident that the problem could and should be resolved. He was there to help us each time that the furnace shut off (which was often) and kept saying that we were partners in making it work perfectly. He pushed the guys from Goodman for replacement parts, spent a lot of time trying to make Goodman do what was needed, and finally succeeded. My furnace has been working now for more than three weeks without any problem and I know that I can always rely on Dave and his colleagues if anything ever goes wrong. His attitude to his clients is amazing! Olga.
