We knew we wanted Mark & his team after our first meeting. He demonstrated knowledge, experience, professionalism, and passion for the work. We called Mark almost 2 years after his initial quote, and he still remembered us. Mark worked very well with our general contractor (Paul) for our whole house renovation. Mark & his team worked on the underpinning, along with some drain work, and helped to ensure that our basement was well set up for our floor insulation and radiant floor heating installs. The New Depths team did a wonderful job. They made progress everyday, stayed on budget, stayed on time, and kept the worksite neat. You can tell they were very professional and experienced as Mark was. They also communicated and worked with Paul's crew very well, and seemed genuinely happy to have met one another and work together on a very regular basis. In their own words, they talked to each other very regularly, and called each other multiple times daily. Wow. We would hire Mark and the New Depths team again, and would recommend them to everyone. Robert & David were wonderful. We had David come in for a walkthrough and quote on different options, on 3 different occasions, over the course of 3 years. No complaints from David about coming in each time, with efforts to keep quotes as consistent as possible throughout that time. When it finally came time to the job, the team did a fantastic job. They kept the site clean, were respectful of neighbouring properties, finished nicely & on time, conducted the air tests, and provided the lab report. I would use them again (although I would prefer not to have asbestos in the first place), and recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

We are really glad to have gone with David for our whole house redesign, and have his help throughout our very lengthy process (the lengthy part is because of us, David was super responsive and communicative, even having a newborn child in that time). Without him, we would not have made it through all the hurdles in our design, committee, applications, neighbours, and permits. David is professional, receptive, and honest. I asked him for an ensuite, even though my wife didn't think it could work; and there it was. His advice was definitely helpful in guiding us towards our goals. David even made referrals along the way, which we took advantage of, including our structural engineer and general contractor. We would definitely go with David again in the future for other jobs given our experience. Even though the design process is over and the build begins, David still offers to chime in and help on things. Thanks again, David!

In the quote process, Brian came over and looked at our AC & water heater situation. AC was a given because we only had window units (not very efficient in cooling an entire house). The first thing I noticed was, he wanted to do the job; but in a good way. He asked us questions, and based on our responses, articulated where he would put the unit, and given the space and needs, the unit that he would choose for our house. He also recommended we have an Enbridge person look at our tank for free, and that if all is working as expected, to keep the tank (which is what we ended up doing). It also helped that World of Comfort is a licensed installer of Fujitsu units, and you can certify this from the Fujitsu Canada website, and a good track record. Meanwhile, another company in the quote process had wanted the job so bad, they badmouthed every other company in the industry, and gave terrible excuses for sticking to their original price, and why they were able to lower it later. On the day of the job, to our pleasant surprise, Brian was the one who knocked on our door. In all of the jobs we've had around the house, the sales guy was never the one to come by; a very nice personal touch. He introduced Henry & David to us and all was as advertised. A perfect, clean job inside and out. We're very glad we chose Brian, and World of Comfort. It's always nice to stay with neighbourhood businesses. We would gladly work with them again, and recommend them to others.

My husband Tim & I just bought a house where the home inspection outlined the roof needed replacement in < 2 years, and we were looking for the best option for a long term roof replacement. We sought out several other quotes, and New Steel Roofers not only provided the best options with reasonable prices, but great service as well. We now have a steel roof, that will last decades, is more environmentally friendly, and it comes with an extraordinary warranty that accompanies it. Starting with the consultation with Max, he outlined specifically what he saw, suggested, and provided alternatives. Even during the cold winter of February 2014, his team came on site to start & finish the job in a timely manner. Since we also work from home, we found that the noise and interruptions were minimal, the team did a great job on site. Upon completion, Max called to follow up to ensure that the job was completed, and with quality. In summary, an outstanding job all around by New Steel Roofers. I would recommend them to everyone.

My husband Tim & I just moved into an old house that had little attic insulation, making for a very cold winter. We had sourced out a few different insulators, but none took as much time & dedication to explain the process and the passion they had for this like Rich did. Rich came in, took the time to look through, took pictures & video of the space. He showed and described to me the meticulous nature they go through to ensure a job well done. When it came to the day of the job, it was clear the guys knew what they were doing and how to do it. They were just as energetic and excited as Rich was. They made sure to lay down cardboard & plastic sheeting to keep the place clean. They inspected the area thoroughly and did all the necessary prep work including sealing, taping, and all that good stuff before they blew in the cellulose insulation. Mike did a great job ensuring that the job was well done and even looked through the rest of the house for tips & pointers. In summary, we would highly recommend Callrich to everyone. Our house is definitely warmer all around, and we've been able to turn our thermostat down 1C all across the board. We can also tell the heater isn't on nearly as often, and the house temperature doesn't dip nearly as quickly as it used to. We couldn't be happier with Callrich.

We just purchased an old home with knob and tube wiring which needed replacing prior to moving in and we had a very short closing date. Larry we wonderful he provided a quote quickly and was able to start work almost immediately. We choose him over other electricians because he thoughtful about the little things. As opposed to simply adding the minimum requirement he suggested things that would make living in the home far more convenient- whenever I need a plug we have one! He also promised and delivered very few holes, as we have plaster walls it was a huge concern and he filled them in! I would recommend Larry and his team, they were great!
