We were looking for a company to do some smaller renovations and repairs, which is not always easy to find in Toronto. Our previous contractor had changed locations, so we found Perfect Painters and Renovations through Homestars. Every element of dealing with them was excellent. Les showed up on time to quote our initial job, and then showed up again to requote when we changed scope. Once we accepted their quote, we agreed on a date and time. Les followed up consistently, and Les showed up early at our place the day the work was to start. Mike, our actual contractor, showed up on time and Les walked him and us through the job to again make sure everything was as agreed. Mike did a really good job. He showed up on time, was courteous and professional, and was very careful to put down floor coverings. Mike covered every inch of our floor, and taped off any areas he might have to impact. The work done was above our expectations, and Les even showed up half way through to make sure the work was being done as quoted. We are very happy, and will certainly use Perfect Painters again.

Avoid TML at all costs- Tom had done work for friends, and he came to quote our job. I agreed to an advance of funds against materials, and he has yet to show up. We will be commencing legal proceedings to recover our funds.

I called Priority Plumbing, after receiving a card in the mail, for a clogged drain in our apartment. Greg came, although a day late due to heavy rains that caused floods, and did a great job in assessing and fixing the clog. My review is lower than Greg deserves due to the pricing. For what was a total of one hour on site, paying over $400 seems much too high, and I will look for a different company next time.

I chose Hotwire because of the Homestar reviews. They promptly got back to me, booked a time, and confirmed the day before. They showed up exactly on time and quickly fixed/moved the outside lights I needed fixing. Plus, they replaced an outside receptacle too. Great work, easy to deal with!

Chris and Bryan from BTR took on several different renovations at the same time for us. They added 2 closets and closed off our basement apartment, plus completely stripped and renovated our laundry room. They were courteous and careful the whole time, and managed the project exactly on time and budget. We were very pleased with their work, and would highly recommend them.

I used Homestars and found The Duct Cleaning Specialists. They were very professional from the first contact. Matt and his crew showed up exactly on time, and immediately reduced their quote because my system was cleaner than expected! Great work, careful and considerate, would absolutely recommend them.
