I cannot recommend CJ Constructors highly enough! Josh and his team recently came to our rescue when they noticed some major issues with our flat roof while working on our neighbor's home. Their professionalism and dedication to their craft are truly remarkable. Upon discovering the problems, Josh promptly contacted us and provided videos showcasing the damage. This proactive approach immediately instilled confidence in their expertise. After discussing the situation, they offered us a very reasonable quote, which we gladly accepted. What truly impressed us was their swift action. They wasted no time in getting to work, ensuring that our roof was promptly repaired. Throughout the process, Josh and his team maintained clear communication, keeping us informed every step of the way. Their commitment to quality and attention to detail were evident in the flawless execution of the repairs. Not only did they fix the issue efficiently, but they also left the site clean and tidy, demonstrating respect for our property. Josh and his team embody the qualities every homeowner desires in a contractor: responsibility, reliability, and trustworthiness. They exceeded our expectations in every aspect, and we are incredibly grateful for their outstanding service. If you're in need of roofing or construction services, look no further than CJ Constructors. With Josh at the helm, you can rest assured that your project will be handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Thank you, Josh and team, for everything you've done for us!

All I can say is that these guys are the best under-pinners / water-proofers in Toronto. Here is why: Our journey with Nusite began with Jeff. Well spoken and clean cut guy, met us at our home and took the time to really explain everything that would happen. I had a lot of questions as our case was a very special one. He answered everything flawlessly, without being pushy in the least. He really listened to our concerns and was very thorough. Our home is a semi-detached and we did not want ANY issues with our neighbour. Our home was built in the 1930’s (Old Semi) and part of the soil structure might have been unstable. We needed experts that would do an amazing job, with absolutely no chance for a risky structural problem for either my neighbour or our property. Jeff explained everything in perfect detail and made sure that I understood. He and the team at Nusite helped me with obtaining all the information my neighbours lawyer wanted in order to give us permission to proceed. Jeff and his team (David etc…) really went out of their way, and we are very grateful. Without the neighbours consent, the City of Toronto would not grant us the permits to begin. This process was a lot of back and forth, and during this time, Jeff & David were very professional and responsive. Really went above and beyond for me and my family, as well as my neighbours. We are very greatful for their patience during those months of back and forth. Really an unusual circumstance for them I’m sure. Nusite was not the cheapest quote I received, but as the good old saying goes: “You get what you pay for”. That couldn’t be more true in this case. You see, what I came to understand later is that Nusite doesn’t outsource any of their work to the cheapest bidder. All of their staff are in house employees, and represent the company. This is very important, especially for a big job like an underpin. You don’t want the labour outsourced to anther company as there could be liability issues down the line, and there is no guarantee of a quality job. With Nusite, that was not a concern. Then the job began… We met with Jacob and his team. All I can say is these guys are some of the most respectful, clean, precise contractors I have ever met. Every day, they would come in, roll a carpet down to protect our floors and would do a job that is so clean, you can eat off it. Even the city inspectors were in awe! They protected my grass outside. Were mindful of my neighbors on the other side too. They did the underpin in very small tranches, to ensure foundational stability and really took care of our property better than if it was their own. They used laser levels to ensure that each cement pour was even. They ensured that my wife could continue to do laundry and reconnected the washer and dryer downstairs countless times. They installed a new beam through the home and replaced my old wooden one. They were thoughtful, respectful and I will never forget the job they did. Jacob (and your team), than you so much. I can tell that you really love what you do. I really shows in your workmanship. I now have a house that is on stronger footing than ever before, a basement that my kids can play in safely. Nusite went above and beyond, and I’m certain they will do the same for you. Do yourself a favour, and hire them. You won’t regret it.

Thank you so much for the kind words, Greg B! Every project, whether large or small, requires that the customer be fully aware of what is to be done to their property. We pride ourselves on transparency and it seems that we succeeded in this case. Thank you for your patience through the back and forth process, as we know you were eager to get the project underway, and thank you also for the recommendation. We're so glad to have been of service to you.

Domenic did a fantastic job. He came by, showed me his vision and how it would save me lots of money down the road by not having to demolish an old garage. He paved our driveway beautifully and took care of laying stones to our entrance. The pathway looks great. Excellent follow up, and great workmanship. Hire Domenic and you won't be disappointed.

We originally found Mister Plumber here on H.S., and read all the great reviews. We had Igor over and he was very good at getting us a quote. The team at Mister Plumber did a good plumbing job overall in installing a backwater valve, new drain pipes and a sump pump. However they dug a huge hole in the front porch area and our porch sank, and so did my neighbors (semi-detached house). When we called them back to see if they could help us fix it, they told us that they don't care if the job was 11K (what we paid), or 30K! This was not their problem and any collateral damage as a result of their dig was not their concern. After spending so much, and trusting these guys with such a big job, we would have expected more. We really don't like writing bad reviews as we know this can negatively impact a company, but this botched job is now costing us thousands more to get fixed as their digging has created a structural issue with our home. Be very careful in hiring Mister Plumber.

Hello Greg, before we can continue here, it is very important that you respect the facts, and please be careful and not let your emotions get in the way of the truth. Let's clarify the situation : first, you called us because you had a problem with a collapsed clay sewer pipe that was under your porch. When Igor came and checked it with the camera, the decision was mutually made to use trench-less technology in order to repair this burst pipe. With trench-less technology, we dig the hole outside the house, near the property line and beyond the porch, and use a torpedo from basement. The torpedo goes through the existing pipe and channel deep under the porch and creates a space that big enough for the new PVC pipe inside, and even compacts the area around it even more. Such trench-less technology does not harm or compromise the soil around the pipe, and since we did not do any excavation under your porch, our work did not cause your porch to sink. Your case is very similar to sink holes that cause roads to collapse; when a sewer pipe has been broken for a long time, it rinses out the soil around the pipe, thus creating a cavity. The soil under your porch was rinsed out by the ground water to the main sewer line, and this happened long before you called us and has nothing to do with our work. If we did not repair your pipe, that cavity would have become even bigger, which could have even caused the front wall of your house to collapse. We are plumbers, and we fix pipes with minimum disturbance to the landscaping. We are professional, explaining everything about our work and both parties agreed to all aspects of the contract. We are always ready to stand behind our work, but your unfortunate porch collapse was not our responsibility. We greatly resent your accusations of callousness and hardheartedness, for our behaviour was always honest and courteous.
